wind blowing a hooley

hi mummy2 & everyone else
hope you all have a lovely lucky day
xplease be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -
Morning all. Slept in again here.
Firefly love your pics especially blowing a hooley. It was quite mild yesterday but I froze the day before.
Rose big hugs. I think you are doing so well. Being independent is good but we all need to accept help at times and thank goodness you have family help. It sounds as though you are doing all the right things by progressing at a rate you can and not pushing things too far. Have a great time with GKs this afternoon.
Rose your comment about morning dew made me smile. Now my friend I met on holiday is a natural beauty and does not spend hours or lots of money on her looks.
Mummy2threeboys sorry to hear of your cousin. Hopefully once she has let the anger out she can be more positive.
Yes Sheils you leave us all standing with offers. Well done on your latest ones. Great you are enjoying Blackpool. I!!!8217;ve never been there but seen a number of TV programmes about it.last one I remember was about changing all the light bulbs,
Had a great day yesterday met my former colleague under the clock st Waterloo. Her younger daughter worried she wouldn!!!8217;t recognise me after 12 years. No probs said I have not change. She did not see me before two holidays. I made a mistake of suggesting we go up to the cafe top of Tate Modern. View of St Paul s is still stunning. Salad lunch was expensive and not very nice. We had great catch up.
Just home in time to get ready for the theatre. Play was very upsetting set in World War 1 trenches in France and had a bit of a love story to it. Well acted, loads of bangs which made lots of people jump. Theatre full and at the end one of the lead actors made an appeal for SAFA and they had collection at theatre entrance.
Mummy2threeboys since I started comping over three years ago we have been out to more things in London than ever before. We had no family near to help us with our three. Now I have to be careful what I go in for doesn!!!8217;t coincide with helping with GKs.
We are off to pick GS up from school later. Sounds easy but we have to leave an hour early to allow for traffic. The journey can be less than half an hour to over an hour. When we are there DD stays late at work. They expect them all to but she has to pick up son from child minder now she is in her own. We are home about 7.45 for our dinner. I do not like eating then car journey.
We are into May. Let!!!8217;s hope for some wins in the Inn.0 -

No kiddywinks any more till weekend. Love them to bits. Son will be home in about a week then he will be off again. Living undersea. Can't get to him with being a submariner. He protects us but goodness drowning is a no no for me. Then he is off again on his 3 month s they did it right tint or maybe a bit more if he is caught up with the with the idiots making a wrong decicision. watch HMS victorious doing there thing online.0

I am no longer going to keep quiet about our nuclear service subs. We have one that has to go out with one crew. They only have a few weeks off they have to operate with only one crew. Faslane is a mess because of our we have to listen to the goverment. Maggie set the mess as in Thatcher. Sorry for being political peeps but we have a problem but have a look at what is going on in government and world politics. The tories /labpour or liberals or anyone else won't sort it we have to jump up and say wait a minute0

DS keeps out of it but I wont. He loves his job but hates killing.0
-
HMS Victorious only has one crew. They usually have two but due to no-one want to be there only one is available.0

Anyone joining the navy wants to be on a sea ship not a sub. They think they are sailing the sea and it is in the navy. Up on the sea not submarinrers.0

a beautiful sunny start to the day hereand apparently
it's looking to be decent weather for all over the Bank Holiday
weekend. :j
I can feel a bit of gardening coming on today!
I've found another couple of brilliant links which I included in
my Betty thread post this morning:
The innocent Big Grow is a project we’re running with GIY (Grow It
Yourself) to help kids be healthy by growing their own veg in
school and at home.
If you’d like the chance to win a packet of seeds, a compost disc
and a growing guide to join in at home, just enter your details
below >>>
If your DOB shows you’re under 16 it won’t go through, so you'll
need to ask a parent or guardian to fill out the form for you.
Offering to do the washing up could help convince them.
grow it & share it
Share your Big Grow photos, videos, ideas and inspiration using
the hashtag #biggrow on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Or
email hello@innocentdrinks.co.uk
We’d love to see how you’re getting on.

Who we are
The Wildlife Trusts and the RHS set up Wild About Gardens to
celebrate wildlife gardening and to encourage people to use their
gardens to take action to help support nature.
Many of our common garden visitors – including hedgehogs, house
sparrows and starlings – are increasingly under threat. But
together we can make a difference – help us turn the UK’s
estimated 24 million gardens into a network of nature reserves,
and invite our wildlife back.
Go wild for worms
This year Wild About Gardens is going wild about worms! These
wriggly fellows are well known to gardeners all over. At first glance
they might not seem particularly special, but they’re essential for
our soils and wildlife. There are no less than 29 earthworm species
in the UK and each one has an integral role in our ecosystem. It's
time to take action for the worms in your garden!

It may be doubted whether there are many other animals which
have played so important a part in the history of the world as
these lowly organised creatures
