Good Morning, did you have the thunder storms last night. We did and the lightning lit the house up.Suns out now as if it didn't happen..lol.So glad i got the mowing done yesterday as it would have been too wet to cut today. I have the hedge to cut still but will do that over the next couple of days. Got housework to catch up with today,so better get on. Hope you all have a lovely day.

It's another beautiful day here. You would never
have known that we had a spectacular storm yesterday
evening/early hours of this morning! :eek:

I agree indie - the lightning was incredible! It's a long time
since I've seen it as bright! :eek:

I couldn't actually believe it even when I had opened the
email, as I'm not usually so lucky with winning these days
as you all know. :rotfl::rotfl:

Well must crack on. Got a bit of weeding to do this
morning which shouldn't be a problem after all the rain
last night soaking into the ground. Hopefully won't take
too long.

Just watched the Queen opening the London Marathon (from
Windsor Castle).

I hope you're all ok. It's another bright n' breezy start
to the day here, birds are singing away. :dance:


Just come back in after topping up feeders, cleaning bird
baths and topping up with fresh water - so that's them
fed & watered for now!


Had a fairly busy day yesterday - managed to catch up
with comps (for now!), popped out to do some
gardening, finally put all the clean cushion covers back on my
squishy sofas & chair (bit of a tussle but got there in the end )
& even managed to fit in the ironing :eek: while watching the
wonderful news of the birth of the royal baby on the TV! :grinheart

Always love a good news story! :j

Morning, nothing needed doing at the dentist so pleased with that.Don't think we will be seeing the sun here today,it's dull and chilly outside at the moment.Great news for William and Kate with the safe arrival of the new prince.It still surprises me that you can come home a few hours after a birth.
I had a mag win yesterday on Amateur Photographer Competition a family ticket to Blenheim Palace so looking forward to going there in the summer. Right must go thank the poster. Hope you all have a good day.
