Afternoon peeps. Sorry I am not here so often but have other things that are taking priority. Have had a huge box of Malteezer buttons delivered kids and adults will be pleased and will enjoy as they all love chocolate. Saw from facebook it might have been a packet but I have a box. So maybe another comp.

    Hi,
how do I put up a competition.
I have a website for a non pull dog lead and I am currently running a competition to name the lead.
    Help appreciated

    Hi Gill

I think that somewhere on the site there's a rule about not
posting your own competitions, but I'm unable to find it at the
mo. Hopefully someone else will be able to provide more info.

If I'm right, then maybe you could find someone to post on
your behalf ..... just a thought.

Wishing you all the best, sounds a lovely comp! :)

    Posting Comps for Companies
    Hi Folks
It has come to our attention that some companies are attempting to sidestep our Forum Rules on vested interest posting by agreeing certain members post competitions on their behalf. Let's be clear, we absolutely will not tolerate this, and if we find out this is still happening we have the option of banning not only the company from our forum, but also the user account in question.
    Please don't do it.

    :hello: Hi all

It's been a beautiful weather day here and I've been out
gardening all day! :j Pruning, weeding, digging, edging etc
etc and I even managed to clear up most of the leaves!
Although no doubt there'll be more tomorrow! :p

    vil-feuill.gif

Also topped up the birdie feeders (again) while I was outside.
The birds are feeding well, they've even demolished the fat
balls I'd put out yesterday, so the holders have also been
replenished. Also gave the bird baths a good clean out &
    refilled with fresh water.

As soon as I came back indoors I could see two starlings
making the most & having a good splash around. Also spotted
a gathering of collared doves pecking the seed off the grass -
must have been 7 or 8 of them. Never seen that many together
in the garden. Word has obviously got around in the birdie
    world re. Alfie's diner!

job, even though a bit scatty! :rotfl:

Lovely to 'see' you rose. Well done on Maltesers Buttons win -
    they sound scrumptious!

Have a lovely evening all, take care.

    Good Morning,

Had a horrendous day yesterday with wind and rain but sun is trying to come out now. Got a wash on to try and catch up although think it is set to stay dry for a little while. Heading to Skipton area on Sunday for a couple of nights - one £23 Premier Inn night and one night DB&B in a fancy spa hotel with canal view paid for with some of DHs birthday vouchers.

Well done on chocs win rose.

Great you are getting the gardening done Alfie -would need to paddle round our back I think! Will find out when I go to hang the washing out.

Hope everyone has a lucky day.

Morning a bit dull here this morning. DH has been out early to see about refuse collection. Two weeks ago our waste bin disappeared now our ordinary black bin has gone again. This happened before and it reappeared weeks later. It has our door number on it.
They came early to collect today. Bit like your plumber yesterday Sheils.

Hi Rose well done on Maltese win. Hope you are keeping well and warm.

Indie great Charlie is sorted. Sorry to hear about your DSs blood test. We used to have that problem with DD. Well done on book win. As you say great to have a notification with it. I too had a surprise book arrive yesterday but after a long search still don’t know where it came from. Still looks like a good read.

Alfie well done with the gardening.

Take care everyone. This week seems to be going quickly again.

    Hi All!

Sorry have been AWOL, super busy at work and will be until Christmas break.

Hope everyone is well, and having lots of luck. I am very behind with comps and slacking so much.

BUT....just got a message on FB to say I've won a family ticket to Cadbury World to be used before end of 2018. Daughter is going to be over the moon!

Came here to thank the original poster, but from having looked at the original FB post, it was a Halloween entry that I think I just quickly liked and shared before heading out trick or treating. Feel bad now for not having shared the comp on here, but too late now!

Will be collecting ticket on Tuesday :)

    Be extra lucky peeps! xx

    Friday.jpg

    :hello: Good morning everyone

    Hope you're all ok & yay - it's Friday! :T

Sorry to hear about your bins going awol leanfun. Really
don't understand why anyone would take them, or what they
get out of it ..... must be someone's idea of a sick joke, although
not very funny for the owner. Well done of receiving another
book win though, excellent prize! :T

Wonderful news about winning a family ticket to Cadbury World
euronorris! Your daughter will love it & such good timing with
    Christmas fast approaching! :T :j

Need to pop out first thing this morning for food provisions then,
once home, I'll be attempting to dismantle my ballcock thingy to
check its innards. My overflow pipe has been dripping for
the past couple of days & I'd like to repair it myself if possible,
that's if I can hack my way through the layer of hard water
deposits, to actually see what's going on! Would it be ok to use
    a hammer & chisel? :p :rotfl:

    images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQ2gxgRqW026AhxUYahQZgOJEDV-s1jc9nTcgkvy-TLAO1ZwdHF

Wish me luck, could be a long job. :p I'm hoping that it'll
just be a washer or seating thingy that needs replacing.

The worst-case scenario (for me) would be to break it .... then
it'll be a call to the local plumber. It's at times like this
that I'm very thankful that I have another lav!

Have a lovely & lucky day all and please take care whatever
    your plans.

Ho Alfie your pic of the hacking made me smile. Do hope it’s a simple job. Pleased you have a second toilet. That’s one thing wrong with this house only one.

Well done on win I Love Comps. Hope your daughter really enjoys the visit and you too. Every time I think I’ve found a comp to post it’s already on here.

My DD1 yesterday phoned to say she had a Face book message to say she has won tickets for the O2 tennis tomorrow and to send her details but she has not heard back yet.

Indie hope your DS is feeling a bit better hope there’s someone experienced at hospital to take his blood.

Hope everyone has a good weekend. It’s supposed to be brrrrr .. so keep warm.
