:hello: Good morning everyone
Welcome back sheils. I know what you mean about
the dreadful wet weather!Thankfully I didn't have
to drive anywhere over the weekend.
^^^ I so needed one of these DIY kits Saturday!I've
never seen so much rain! The garden was flooded & my
road resembled a river. It was actually a mix of heavy down-
pours intermingled with sudden bursts of sunshine.
Sadly no rainbows though. Didn't have a chance to clear
the millions of leaves in the end on Saturday, that's a
job for this week!
It ended up a beautiful weather day yesterday though, plenty
of sunshine & incredibly mild.Thankfully, the
early rain in London cleared up & the sun appeared just in
time for the Service of Remembrance at the Cenotaph. :A
I thought the Festival of Remembrance Saturday evening,
marking the centenary of the end of WW1, was outstanding
from beginning to end. My daughter & son-in-law (RAF
centenary) were in attendance. Must admit, I shed a few
tears throughout the festival.
Busy day for me today, starting with getting in a few food
provisions .... the cupboards are starting to look bare!
Have a lovely & lucky Monday all and please take care
whatever your plans.

Morning, welcome back sheils.Know what you mean about the rain Alfie. We have had rain since friday night and some very heavy downpours.I have been working the last 2 days so not really been out in it. Did see 2 rainbows yesterday at different times. It was raining all night but suns out here now. Think it will take a few days for the ground to dry up a bit. There was huge puddles in the roads last night and had to slow right down to get through them. I am off to the shops soon fridge needs refilling and need fresh bread and milk
I have the vets tonight and Charlie should be able to have his cone of shame off.Hope you all have a good day0 -
Just stopped raining here. So pleased it cleared for the Cenotaph yesterday.
Sheils great you are home ok. GD is always saying it only rains in the are you visited. Her Mum did post a picture of a rainbow yesterday. They seem to have a lot of them.
Indie and Alfie the cupboard is nearly bare here too.
Great your DD and Sil were here for the service Alfie you must be very proud.
Take care everyone. Good luck this week.0 -
Been feeling quite warm here for November but had a few showers. The forecast for tomorrow is dry and sunny! Must get bed changed and towels done. Rest of my washing all washed and ironed and some even put away.
I was at my sisters having highlights today as grey was taking over!
Hopefully looking a bit younger now.
Hope Charlie gets on ok indie.

:hello: Good morning everyone
I hope you're all in fine fettle today. It's a beautiful
weather start to the day here and set to continue until the
weekend & beyond .... hopefully! It's still very mild for the
time of year, which means huge savings on the heating
bill! :T
I hope Charlie got on fine at the vets yesterday indie and
he came home cone-less!
Just got to pop out for cat food this morning & then
carry on clearing up the leaves. Managed to scoop up
quite a lot yesterday but this morning it doesn't look any
different! :rotfl:
Have a lovely & lucky day all and please take care whatever
your plans.

Morning. Sunny here so far. Rain was bad yesterda but we were so lucky to dodge it while shopping.
Meant to say yesterday hope Charlie is ok Indie. Expect he will benpleased to be without collar.
Saw loads of leaves on the way home last night from looking after GS. Thought of you Alfie. They must seem never ending.
Big hugs for those in need of one.
Take care and be lucky.0 -
Morning, yes Charlie is cone free now. He had his nails cut whilst at the vet. He wasn't happy with that but they grow so quick. It's always his front ones that need cutting. It's a sunny day here now but was raining till early hours. Just took son to Dr's for blood test and the nurse could only get one lot out so have to take him to hospital for another lot to be taken. Will take him friday as she got the important one (fasting). Hope you all have a lucky day.0

Morning,
Well after our lovely sunny day yesterday we have had torrential rain all through the night and set to continue. Was so bad last night we had difficulty sleeping.
Well done on the book prize indie and enjoy the nice weather.
Hope the weather is ok for everyone else too.
Our plumber came to service the boiler at 9am, wasn't expecting him until a lot later but he knew he had promised someone he would be there at 9am. His 9am appointment phoned looking for him. Luckily we had had our showers early just incase he came early which we thought was highly unlikely as half the time he doesn't come on the right day never mind early. He is really nice though and good at his job.
Must go and enter some comps.
