dreadful not having your meds to hand due to an error being

I'm loving the autumn sunshine! soleil07j.gif

I'm still hopeful that only organised events will be
allowed in the future - get really fed up with hearing 'loud'
fireworks being let off days/weeks before & after the event
and also at random times throughout the year. No wonder
some poor animals get spooked!

Anyway must get on, another busy day ahead, more Xmas
shopping. :j Also I'm way behind with comps so must catch
    up with those too. ecrire-ordi.gif

Have a lovely and lucky Friday all & please take care whatever
    your plans.

    :hello: Good morning everyone

Hope you're all well. :) It's going to be another glorious
weather day here today .... perfect for gardening me
    thinks! jardinage0.gif

Trotted out to the garden yesterday to get something from
shed & there happened to be a ginormous spider web
stretching from my archway over to the top of the shed
door. _pale_ Guess who hadn't seen it, until I opened the
door, & ended up with sticky cobweb in my hair/face!
Big fat spider wasn't impressed! Ingenious construction
though & perfect position for catching both flies & stupid
    humans!!! :T :p

    araigneetoile.gif

Anyhow, found a long bamboo cane (didn't want to get too
close & personal ) to carefully remove him from what
was left of his cobweb, & managed to safely rehouse him
elsewhere (and a fair distance from the shed). :D

:T Very well done on your surprise haircare win indie! :j
Hope you had a great day yesterday looking after nephew
& that your son & girlfriend have a wonderful weekend in
    London. Sounds brilliant! :T

Received this fab news via facebook .......

    WWF.png

We sent Emmanuel Rondeau on a mission to capture images of
tigers in Bhutan. 23 days after setting up his camera traps, he
managed to get this image of a magnificent male tiger, who had
never been recorded before in Bhutan.

This fantastic image was Highly Commended by Wildlife
Photographer of the Year and will enable the team at WWF Bhutan
to push for better protection of these important tiger habitats.

Well done on another nice win indie. Hope you got your meds ok.

Didn't like the sound of your spider Alfie but do love big cats.

Well done on the hair products Indie. Hope you have meds and are feeling better. When our local Loyds chemist closed earlier this year we tried another one near us but it was chaos. So DH goes to nearest boots now. It should be so straight forward. Hope your DS and GF have a great weekend.

Alfie well done on tree win. You will be busy planting now. Your Christmas tree was a bargain. We will be using artificial tree this year. No entering tree comps for me. Although it did look grand last year. A couple of years ago I too threw away all the old trees. When DD1 came they bought a last minute tree on the way here. That is six foot too.

Pleased you have the show in Blackpool to look forward too Sheils.

We were so fortunate it was a sunny day yesterday. We took DSs two on the train to St Albans to meet their mother. She decided to drive down from Scotland to pick them up with a friend.
DH and I have never been to St Albans before so after the pick up we walked through the town to the cathedral. It’s massive and very interesting. What impressed us is that although it is Church of England it is also ecumenical and has four or five services from different Christian denominations each week.

Pleased we decided to find the cathedral as near it was the old shopping area, lots of old and interesting shops. Just wished we had had more time and energy to look around. We managed to walk back to the station. Picture a slow moving bent up couple.

We have weekend to recover. Next week just one GS on English half term.

Firefly keep thinking of you and your DH. Big Hugs.

Hope everyone has a good weekend. Be lucky.

    :hello: Good morning everyone

Hope you're all in fine fettle today. :) It was such a
glorious weather day yesterday that I excelled myself,
    ended up multitasking! :p

First job on my list was to defrost the freezers because,
to be honest, there was more ice than food in both. :o
Then I took myself off to the supermarket & stocked up
with scrumptious goodies, in readiness for family coming
to mine for half term. :j Just got to get a few more bits &
pieces on Monday. They'll all be arriving Tuesday eve
    with dogs in tow! :grinheart

As it was such a beautiful weather day, I also carried
on gardening, mowing lawns, weeding etc. etc. Even
managed to give my outside tubs a quick coat of wood
stain to spruce them up a bit. :D

Eventually caught up with comps too and also managed
to post the following (received via Facebook) in
'Competitions Time' which I would like to share with you
    all .....

Your trip to St. Albans sounds delightful leanfun, lovely info
re cathedral and the old shopping area.

I've never been to St. Albans but I'm pretty sure that my
son used to work there a few years ago .... I'll have to
    mention it to him.

Well, must crack on .... today's plan (amongst other things)
is to give my old car a good clean, (both inside & out) & give
    him his sparkle back! :p

Have a lovely Sunday all and please take care whatever your
    plans.

Morning, you were busy yesterday Alfie, thanks for the above link I have entered. I was at work so a busy day for me. I have had a nightmare with the Dr and will be seeing her tomorrow. After various phone calls and going to the surgery and seeing my perscription waiting to be signed i was told i can't have it till i have seen the Dr and have a review. They said she had been trying to get me in since june for a review but i had not been in. This was news to me. I have a review tomorrow morning so let's see what happens. I have been up since silly o clock and had a nice long bath, then got 2 loads of washing out as it's a sunny day, cold but dry. Son and GF are due back later today so will hear all about the show then. Hope you all have a good day

Another miserable looking day here but nothing planned so not so bad.
All washing and ironing up to date for a change. Wll need to buy something for dinner though.

St Albans sounds nice leanfun - had a Google. Nearest we have been would be when we went to Legoland. Hoping to visit Oxford next year. DH has been as his brther used to live there but I have never been.

Gosh Alfie you have been busy again. Thanks for lovely comp, have entered. Great you are seeing your family again so soon. Think DS3 is popping back for few days here tomorrow

That must be annoying indie. Surely they could have written when they didn't get you on the phone.

DH making porridge with blueberries so must go.

Morning, it's cold here this morning think i will put heating on for an hour or so to warm the house up.DS and GF are back now and enjoyed the show. They didn't go sightseeing as came out hotel turned a corner and were in the middle of that Demo that was going on up in London. They recon on the news there was around 700 thousand people marching.Neither of them drive so felt safer being near the hotel.
Yes sheils they could have written but as well as having my mobile number they have the house number which they could have left a message on. Never mind i hope to sort it today. I have nephew coming today and think SG is going to make cakes with him so they will be busy. We have been told this week is the last of the nice weather so got to finish work in garden whilst i can. Hope you all have a lucky day.
