:hello: Good morning everyone
Ouch! Ouch! Ouch mummy 2! Hope your poorly broken toe
improves as each day goes by. Lovely of your son to clean up
the mess though. :A Have a wonderful week in Whitstable with
your boys, very well deserved. :T
Sounds as if you're having a brilliant time with your GKs
leanfun. :T I'm really loving being a nanny! :grinheart Yesterday
I was shopping in town for most of the day - needed quite a few
bits and bobs including decent walking boots, couple more shirts,
warm cardy etc.
I'm going away this coming weekend with my son (Friday to
Tues). We're off to stay with lovely family up Lincoln way. They've
got plenty planned including a trip to Yorkshire Wildlife Park, a
joint birthday party for gorgeous granddaughters at the local
village hall. _party_ It makes good sense because their birthdays
are only one month apart. It's also my daughter's birthday :j _party_
& we're all off out for an evening meal to celebrate. Think there'll
be quite a few of us raising our glasses etc etc.
And in between all of that, we'll be out dog walking - that's one
of the reasons why I treated myself to new walking boots!
Puddy cat will be coming up to stay at the house, I always like
to take her with me (if possible), and a couple of good friends
will be staying at mine for a well earned break. Happy days. :j
We'll be setting off to Lincoln early'ish Friday, at least that's
the plan.So will still be popping in tomorrow to 'see' you, then
you'll all have a few days of peace until I'm back Wednesday
morn.
Have a brilliant time at Aberaeron today sheils & an enjoyable
lunch with DHs brother.
Hope you had a lovely day yesterday indie, & managed to get
everything done. It ended up really warm & there I was trawling
around town on such a beautiful day!! Typical!
I couldn't believe the amount of people I saw there (all ages,
not just youngsters), who were walking around scrolling on their
blooming mobile phones. One mum (complete with pushchair),
was so engrossed with her phone that she almost collided with
me - luckily I managed to jump out of the way. It was like
being surrounded by zombies. Thankfully it's not often
that I have to go there!
Anyway - must get on - got a zillion things to do again today!
Have a lovely & lucky day all and please take care whatever
your plans.

Alfie have a wonderful time with your family. Sounds as though they have a lot planned for you. Enjoy your grandaughters, they are at a great age.
Sheils pleased to hear you are having a good time and hope you miss the worst rain. Great for DH to catch up with brother and he sounds well.
Here it’s been busy. We have taken the children to Lullingstine Villa (Roman Ruins) and they have spent time with their cousin. Weather has been good so far.
Tonight DD2 is coming with family. She has booked a flat a few miles away from us but her DS is very anxious about staying there and has had a very bad week so DS is going to stay in flat with his two for two nights coming home in day time. So it’s going to be change the beds time.
It’s been lovely spending time with DSs two. At first it was difficult understanding GD. Her American accent is going and she was talking so fast. She doesn’t have a Scottish accent yet. They are vegetarians and it used to be a nightmare feeding them but they are improving. They don’t eat vegetables. Yesterday I made them quorn sheperd’s pie and put very small carrots and peas in and they eat it all.
We picked DD1s son up Wednesday and yesterday after school so they have all three been going grazy here. Happy Days.
Rose I expect you have been busy with your GKs on school holidays.
Hope there are some wins in the Inn soon.
Take care. Hope all have a good weekend.0 -
Shiels Hope the weather stays good for you, you always make me pine for a more relaxed life sounds like a really wonderful time , Thanks for the info Re Meercats xx
Alfie your weekend sounds perfect, wishing your granddaughters and daughters a lovely birthday, we love the zoo as a birthday treat (Gosh they are so dear!) I have arranged a house swap with a friend to look after ours when we go away, she lives 7 hours away now but came from this area and she misses it here, I don't know why I didn't think of it before.
lean I forget you are not far from me, Lullingstone is fab isn't it sadly the only time we have been both younger Boys where having a bad day ..One Austism melt (why I have no idea as it's not exactly a full on loud flashy lights place is it!) and a toddler tantrum. I should have just left them outside with mum and taken turns lol Fishborne is amazing if you get to go down that way Dorset I think?
Hubby and I have decided to move in a couple of years, and take a big leap to get away from all the hustle of Rochester, my road is terrible. No one says Hello to each other anymore, we have people fighting, using awful language and threatening to kill each other (No joke) over parking spaces. There are too many people here now and no one stays longer than 6 months. So we are moving back to very rural Kent where all we see are sheep . Oddly our house is desirable because it's close to the main trainline with fab links to London. Rural Kent where we want to go has zero links almost.
I don't care as long as there Is a shop a Post office and a cake/cafe (Usually it's one shop that does all) oh and a bus stop.
Mobile phones hump hate it that people are so glued on, what is more important in your life than seeing what is going on in someone elses every second? Or when you go out for a meal and everyones on them the whole meal.Compers challenge 27/70

Morning,
Still a bit wet here in Chester but supposed to dry up as we head through the Lake District towards Whitehaven. Went to see Chester Cathedral yesterday which was really good although not as impressive as Gloucester. Been meaning to see inside it for years so that is ticked off now too.
Gosh fancy being that organised for Xmas indie - well done!Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media
