Good to hear you enjoyed the day Mooloo.

I was always a very vivid dreamer ever since being very young, but when I was going through all the angst with eldest I stopped dreaming (or at least never remembered them). Since most of the problems have been sorted as best they can I have started dreaming again. Just as well given my username. Never sure they mean anything in particular except for 2 recurring dreams I have when I am a bit run down.

Argh. At 3pm I was required. While on my way at 3.50 I was no longer required, but as I don't have the phone on in the car I still went.
So I had a glass of water a 5 minutes chat and have returned home. I think I might be getting a cold, sneezing a lot, and my skin is ache.
Dgd is happy as she still got her McD.
Me, I am going to get my feet up, a blanket over my knee and a cup of tea. I had such a big lunch I don't need food.

Definitely getting a cold. Under fleece usually I get too hot when I drink a cuppa. Nope still feel aches and shivers and have snuffles.
I think I am going to set up my teasmade for tomorrow, and get my self to bed.
Has come on quite suddenly really. Probably because I was relaxing.

Because you were so stressed, your defences were down and bingo - the cold virus strikes! Keep warm, plenty of fluids, some paracetamol and REST!

I swear by juice of half lemon, sliced fresh ginger and a tbsp manuka honey, in hot water, plus paracetamol. A drop of whisky or brandy at bedtime.

I only have paracetamol in the house, but I have taken that. I forgot that Dgds school want her to provide melon for her class today. The Christmas buffet. So I have to go and buy about 3, as there are 29 in her class.
So it means using the car to visit the supermarket and school before I start work. I really am trying to keep on track but I keep dropping the ball at the moment.

Sorry to butt in Mooloo, but if every child is taking in ‘something’ for this Christmas party, then I think that you would only need to provide one melon.

Not all children would take a piece, especially if there are sweet goodies on offer as well (and they would have already had their lunch as well).

Hope you are feeling better this morning and I hope that you both have a very happy Christmas and new year.
