Mooloo’s Managing it in 2018

You've summed up the bigger picture well dreaming . No one heartless would have put their physical and emotional health in second place over so many years . I confess I don't and never will understand the mindset of those who pop up from time to time to offer what appears to be an ill informed and negative view . I'm aware it's an open forum but that post was not needed and can only come across as hurtful and judgemental .

I think you have been very courageous Mooloo, the little boys welfare is far more important than DS or GF.
Personally, I find the fact DS left the little boys alone in the car twice (even if it was for the briefest time) and the fact GF could not be ar*sed to get out of bed, FAR more worrying than the state of the house.
How can she possibly justify her actions??? Or lack of???
Why would anyone think she would be different if the little boys were back with her?
It is such a sad situation.
Thank goodness it seems you have managed to get SS to take your concerns seriously.0 -
I'm not quoting Annandale's harshly critical post, because I think that Mooloo has that poster on ignore - and I don't want to stress Mooloo any more than she already is.
But I would remind that poster of the saying "if you can't say anything positive then why say something that is negative?"

So sorry that things are so flipping dire.
So sorry about your friend.
You have done the very best you can & it is not your fault at all that DS & GF cant step up to the plate as my dad would have said.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. An old friend is dying and has asked to see you and you can't go? Surely if you have a decent sum in savings you can get a taxi there?
You might regret it if you don't go. Sorry mooloo. You get a lot of support on here and you have a lot on your plate. But some decisions you make at times look heartless. The way you hire and fire people and don't seem to care.
But that is awful. Someone is dying and has asked to see you and you've said no.
This I won't read or post on here again. That's simply appalling.
Don't bother reading and posting.
Swear word off.
You don't know what is involved.
And I have never hired and fired easily. I have given "trial" and I even pay for trial work, which I don't have to do.
I don't give a fig about what you think.
I am not explaining to you why I am not ready to go and visit this person. I am not so stupid and cruel as to tell them I am not coming.
I don't know what exactly you try to do when you post, but you twist things, take things out of content, and to be honest you can go back under your shell.
I am very rarely rude to anyone, anywhere in my life, but if I was a porcupine you'd be the first to get my bristles .When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Well said, Mooloo! No-one needs that sort of negativity - it says more about the poster herself than about you.

Thankyou.
I appreciate that what I say may not be agreed with ny others, I realise that I am posting on an open forum so I have to realise that people will not always agree with me. That is fine. But to say I am heartless takes the biscuit.
I have very personal reasons why I don't want to/feel that I can go and see this person. It drags up stuff from 18 years ago.
I don't think that I owe this person anything, and although I am saddened by their situation, I don't think my turning up would help, it might salve their conscience, but it would probably cause other problems for me and their family.
I am not sure that I am strong enough for any further nuclear fallout. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
