Mooloo I was rushing round this morning heading for a long day . Got back a short while ago and have just read thorsoaks' post re that poster . I'm sorry for quoting the post .I'd forgotten the ignore and quoted as they have a history of removing posts .
You don't need to explain yourself to anyone. We know you've been respectful of staff and at times gone above and beyond the level of support many employers would offer .
Thats a bit of an ouch with the garage bill but all should now be safe over the winter . At least it didn't happen when you were driving .
Take care , many people have your back and are thinking of you even those like myself who muck up sometimes .

Mooloo contacting SS with your concerns was a very courageous move to make, done out of love for your grandsons. Such a hard thing to do and I applaud you for it.
You've had a heck of a time lately so I totally understand about not visiting your friend. For once you need to put yourself and your mental health first.
I wish you a very merry Christmas x0 -
I am going to bed!
Shattered.
So much I planned to do - didn't even wash up. Been text chatting with a few friends all evening. My fingers are aching!

Morning. A night of weird dreams. At the basis of it I was bar staff back with a landlord I worked for in 1981-2, not so weird, except for trying to find out the shifts etc, I was talking to the landlord, and actually said to him that he did realise that we were both dead, that he had died about 20 years ago and I had died of a blood disease!! Where did that come from? He is actually dead, his son married my niece eventually so I know that for a fact. But why would he pop up in my dreams, why would I be back in the pub trade, and then say I was dead??
Rather shook me up as I have never dreamt of being dead before?
I am certainly not planning on shuffling off my mortal coil yet?
I know that it's just a dream but can't get it out of my head this morning.
Today I am going to see Mum again, my Brother plans on tagging along,. Biggest is back dancing/teaching after the birth of the baby, today and I am on the rota to babysit if hubby is not back from work in time. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Dgd has gone to school. I am still in my dressing gown.
The new neighbors have put a floor in the shed for me yesterday. In exchange for the use of my water over the last few weeks.
So I can look for some carpet remnants now. It will be good to get it decked out for her. Although at the moment she puts her bike in there, so I will have to re- sort the old shed too.
Time for me to get moving properly. First job empty and reload washing machine, change Dgds bedding and pack her clothes, before going to see Mum.

Morning Mooloo . I rarely remember dreaming but do find if I've been stressed and worried I do dream and often the dreams will feature people from long ago including the awful headmistress from my convent school
It sounds as though you have good neighbours which is always a positive . When I bought the summerhouse I put carpet in as the children took possession of my retreat . It's possibly warmer where you live but the weather here is often very damp and the carpet was affected by it . A carpet fitter friend brought me an 8x6 offcut of very heavy cushioned non slip vinyl he had left from a hotel job and suggested using one or two washable bathroom type rugs . It worked really well for decades . Rugs in the washer and on the line and a quick mop of the floor .
I hope Biggest enjoys her first day back at work and you , mum and your brother enjoy your time together . Only a few more days and you and mum will be heading to Portugal . I'm looking forward to hearing about your real life visit to look at that house .A girl can dream can't she?
I'm currently having a battle with my laptop charger which has been playing up since the weekend . It's now plugged in as I type and I've had a random idea and it seems standing a book on edge under the bit that goes into the laptop has started it charging . Seems to give a clue for the family techie to sort it .
Have a good day

Home now, but about to turn around and go back out to Babysit. Just waiting for dgd to come back from school. Although I don't think she wants to come with me. I will be about 3 1/2 hours, so I am going to ask my friend to look in on her, and leave her with the shop mobile so I can keep in touch. I know that she will be on her Xbox chatting and playing with the friends from school , but have never left her on an evening before. Usually I am home within an hour of her getting in from school. But I am waiting to check she hasn't changed her mind. Mind you I could have saved myself 34 miles driving if she chooses to stay home. Oh well.
Lunch in the Turkish Restaurant was yummy! Big brother was impressed.
Mum happy to have us with her. We squeezed in a trip back to the Range so I could pick up some wall art that I saw last visit. It was all there so I am happy.
There is now a highland cow gracing my living room wall instead of a silhouette painting. It will spur me on to change the rest of the decor. Although it's only about 18 months since I recovered the sofas, but I forgot to preshrink the fabric so when I washed it and put it back on the cushions it's started to burst at the seams! ( school Girl error!).
Haven't heard anything from DS. So don't know what if anything they have been told yet.
Spoke to twin2 last night, she has been issued with a laptop for her special needs after her last assessment. Just need to try and get her support people to get her an eye scan thingy next. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
