I am having hot flushes this morning, not sure if that is my age or the flu!

Home. Full of the cold. Paracetamol every 4 hours.
Caught up with all the work in. ( except a wedding dress that's for the new year, and will be the first day back work for Staff.).
We are only open until 12 tomorrow, hopefully all collections will be done.
Twin1 is coming up to collect Dgd and is bringing the new baby to see us. So I will get a cuddle at least. ( if I am not too full of germs!)

Boo to the cold, but how lovely that you will get to see the new arrival.

I am seeing my twin DGC tomorrow (if their mum doesn't change her mind at the last minute as she often does). I saw them briefly last week but it can be bitter-sweet as I realise how out of touch I am with them now I don't see them regularly. They are really happy and doing well though, and although their mum has issues with me (although she says she doesn't there is often tension between us but I just try to grin and bear it) she is a really good mum to them, and her new partner is a great bloke and treats them like his own.

Hope you have a peaceful Christmas Mooloo, and a good holiday, and come back re-invigorated to face whatever 2019 is likely to throw up.

Ryanair has replied still refusing compensation. Asked again for my details for the expenses, which they will pay they say. I have replied that I already sent them the expenses and the bank details, and that I don't agree with their decision and I will be taking it further.
So another job for me to tackle tomorrow.
My eyes are tired today, and I will not be long before I go to bed.

Well I made it till about 8 O'clock and then went to bed. Mum rang me in the evening to see if I was ok. Bless her.
I am continuing with the paracetamol and hot drinks, and using good old vick on my chest. I woke at 12, and 5. Weird dreams the last two hours. But I am not too bad.
I only have to work until 12today. Hopefully the last few collections will come. I will have a clean slate for the new year, so if it is quiet I can begin pricing and selling my remnants on line.
I have workshops to work on, and start the changes to the business when I return.
Twin1 is coming with the baby, so I will get a brief moment with her before they all go. Then this afternoon I will start to wrap the last few presents and then I will pack my things for tomorrow.
My brother is staying in the uk till the 30th, so I might get to see him one more time before we head off Sunday. Luckily it's not Gatwick!
Time to move.

Wishing you a good day Mooloo, hopefully the paracetamol and vicks will help I don't think this holiday has come a moment too soon . Let's hope you get peace to rest and recover without worry while you and mum are away.

Thanks Candy it does seem to be the laptop socket . Was yours fixable? I finally managed to charge it to 100% with propping it up and holding the lead in tight . Did the trick for now but my hands aren't happy .


Just about to finish getting ready for the 2 weekly GP appt so have a good day all .

It cost me £90 to get it fixed, then the same thing happened a few months later, so I had to get a new laptop:(

I had plans to bring the laptop in to work this morning, but Dgd was running late so I had to take her to school and pop in the office to tell them her Mum was coming to collect her early. By the time I dropped the car home and started to walk to work, I realised that I had forgotten the laptop and didn't have enough time to go back for it.
So this morning's plans went out the window. Had 3 collections, and one coming to collect this evening from my home.
Only 7 things still to be collected.
Think morning paracetamol is wearing off I am full of the sneezes again.
Only just over an hour to go and I can go home. See the baby and then do my own thing.
I can't quite believe that I am going away this weekend. I really am not ready. Haven't a clue what to pack!

Waiting for Twin1 to arrive. Ryanair trying to sort out my payment for expenses at least, but they keep telling me that my details are wrong.
So I have given them another bank account to try.
The details were tripled checked so I have no idea what they were doing?

They probably want the same account as originally paid for those flights.
