Can anyone help me with EE SP for vegetarians please? Actually, not 100% veg, can eat a bit of tinned fish and smoked salmon too. Thank you.

Caterina OH is veggie. I sometimes make a type of veggie lasagne with slices of aubergines or courgettes instead of pasta, veggie curries maybe with cauli rice, do you eat meat substitutes like Quorn or similar? As a meat eater I find SP hard without carbs. Oh, I make a crustless quiche with smoked salmon and rocket in it.
    Anything amongst these meal plans??

Thank you esmy, lots of good ideas in that link!
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).
  • Well done, there will be nothing left of you soon x

Oh I wish! I'm still just over 15 stone but hoping next week I'll see a 14 at the start for the first time!

I just got back from aqua aerobics so I'm definitely on it still! I've just eaten a quarter of a tub of the cinnamon roll halo top ice cream for 4.5 syns afterwards. How is that stuff allowed?! It's soooo good.

You are doing so well, and entering into the 14 stone bracket is :T:T:T:T The aqua aerobics will be fabulous for you..... soon you will be in the 13 stone bracket. But it is all a matter of proportion. x

Your menu for today looks good Lucia but only you know if the amount of Speed makes a third. I balance it across the day so often don't have any at breakfast but aim for 50% at other meals. You should try to use your syns. They're part of the plan and if you keep going without you might feel deprived and give up.

Thanks maman. I reckon I lost about 2lb. Although at WI it came up as only a half pound loss because I'd just eaten my dinner. Next week I'm not going to eat before WI.

I agree. I need to put more speed on my plate so will make a real effort to do more of that tomorrow and keep it up. I'll also try getting more protein on my plate and will supplement with exercise next week.

I'll have to use some syns, maybe a little at the weekend. The reason I haven't used many yet is cause I haven't downloaded the app yet so once I get that will be easier to see what I can use them for. Will have a go at setting app up tomorrow.

A little disappointed by my first weigh in but it's a step in the right direction. There's a lady in my group who lost like 10lb in first week and 3.5lb this week so she's already almost lost a stone - amazing!

Hello, been MIA after losing my first stone. Two days ago I started having massive cravings, it's like my body is desperate for more! Been eating too much for the last 2 days: cheese, bread, fat, cake etc. Need to return to straight and narrow (from home). Can anyone help me with EE SP for vegetarians please? Actually, not 100% veg, can eat a bit of tinned fish and smoked salmon too. Thank you.

I think we all have cravings at times. When I'm hormonal I can just eat and eat. Sometimes I just give in to it, but if I'm feeling strong I try and binge on free foods. Also if you really need chocolate, you can eat a whole pack of hifi bars in a day and still stay within plan if you have 2 of them as your HB

I'm not an expert on EE SP or vegetarian food, but someone I know has chilli with butternut squash chips when she does SP days. You would just have to make your chilli vegetarian.

Also SW quiche is good for SP.

Managed a not too bad day food wise yesterday. Might of done a tad to much, because I'm feeling not as great today. I'm allowed to drive again today, so planning on going out which will be nice, but going to have to take it easy.

Food wise, I want something that looks kind of on plan

    Breakfast - cereal
    Lunch - SW quiche
    Dinner - pasta bake

    HA - milk and cheese
    HB - cereal
Syns - extra milk and cheese

and yet another STS .... :(

I think that I've reached a plateau, so I'm going to try a couple of SP days to see if that will kick start something - I've prepared a vat of veg soup in readiness :) Am I right in thinking that I can have porridge and milk as normal, then just protein, fruit and veg for the rest of the day - I don't go to group, I just follow this thread and google lol.
  • Oops +1/2 for me this week. Must do better :rotfl:
