  • Thank you all for the warm welcome :) I'm enjoying all the posts and seeing what people eat- I'm nosy like that!

    Another on plan day-

    Breakfast- pear and banana
Lunch- leftover beef casserole (2 syns)
Dinner -chicken and pepper curry with rice
    HEA milk
HEB hifi bar (1 so far)
    Snacks - Clementine

I'll have an an apple in a bit too if I want it, and some jelly (1 syn). I also have only had half my HEB so will have another hifi bar later, or maybe some dried fruit and I'll syn my bar from earlier (3)

I'm lucky that I still have a work collegue who picks me up a box of hifi when I want. I prefer them to the other cereal bars for a chocolatey hit!

NSV today as I'm starting to see and feel my clothes fit a lot better.

Breakfast: porridge made with milk (HEA HEB)
Lunch: grilled chicken, vegetable salads, pasta salad, rice salad
Dinner: chicken wings (4), oven chips (4) salad

I have some milk left over for a bedtime drink. I'm travelling for work tomorrow so will have to plan a strategy for that.

Welcome Katie . You don't seem to have planned many syns today. Are you saving them? :)

I'm still getting into the swing of things. Today I ate yoghurt with blueberries and an apple for breakfast plus coffee with almond breeze in it; for lunch I had a baked potato with beans and rocket salad; and for dinner I had the slimming world chicken and cauliflower korma recipe with basmati rice. I snacked on three easy peelers.

I've not used my syns much this week as I didn't have any cravings. However I'm starting to think about chocolate so maybe I'll allow myself some tomorrow. I also feel like I've eaten too much to lose weight. I'm confused about how this whole thing works.

If I changed anything with my eating this week, I would add more speed to my plate and try to eat more meat. I've tried to keep up with a third speed with every meal but hasn't always been possible. I'll also aim to get more exercise. Still...I am learning so I'll put my lessons into next week.

I have my first weigh-in tomorrow evening. I really don't know what to expect but I might weigh myself this evening so I know what sort of figure to expect in case I get disappointed. I would honestly be happy only losing 1lb.

Kathryn, so pleased to hear you are on the mend... but remember to relax and let your body heal... and if you are wanting a specific food... indulge. Your body will need extra calories to heal.

    Breakfast/lunch
    Carrots
    Tomato
    strawberries
    tangerine
    Tea
I was going to have steak and SW chips... but I arrived home to find OH having a man period!! I ended up with SW chips and mushy peas. OH has gone to bed.... before I throttle him!
