Not supposed to move unsupervised and I'm bored. Not got the attention span at the moment to read, so with enough WiFi for a bit of surfing but not enough for YouTube I might as well be on here :)

Hello! I'm a long time lurker and would like to join you if that's ok.

I did SW and lost two stone two lb, reaching target last summer. Since then I had a couple of holidays and Chrstimas, and basically just stopped for 6 months.

Is like to get back to target by summer, so after weighing myself this morning have 13lbs to shed. I'm hoping by posting on here I'll be more accountable and can save myself the money of going to group.

    Here's my food diary today:

Breakfast- overnight oats with mixed berries
Lunch- sweet chilli chicken chunks (1 syn), boiled eggs, cucumber sticks, tomatoes
    Dinner- Butternut Squash Alfredo
    Snacks- chocolate (5)
    HEA milk
    HEN oats

I might have some oranges in a bit and some jelly, for an extra 2 syns

Hope everyone has had a good day!

    Welcome :D:D

  • Please can I be put down for a 6lb loss by 4th March?

Thanks :D now to actually go do it....
  • Delighted to hear the OP went well kathrynha. :)

Welcome Katiebe89. You'll easily get back to target by summer :)

Fifth SP day in a row for me today, and to be perfectly honest, I'm sick of it :rotfl: Back to EE tomorrow and Thursday. Looking forward to yogurt, and have a lovely Mexican dinner planned for Thursday evening after WI, using some of the Tilda firecracker rice. I've not had proper carbs since going back to SW, so really looking forward to it.

Cheeky check on my own scales this morning shows I should have my 1 stone shiney on Thursday. It's ridiculous how much those shineys motivate me :rotfl: I've never got the 1 stone one before, as the last time I lost that much on plan I was doing it online.

Thanks Nicki. I hadn't seen that because I was on holiday and didn't read back when I got home as there was far too many pages to catch up on! I think this must be one of the fastest moving threads on MSE!

I'm on my second day, and have had enough as well.

:rotfl: I find carbs really bloat me, so the SP suits my body better than EE. Tomorrow won't be SP because I'm going to have a yogurt for breakfast, but everything else will still be SP. If you're not enjoying it don't force yourself to do it. I'm going to have a massive (on plan!) blow out after WI Thursday, but I guarantee I'll pay for it afterwards. If carbs actually agreed with me there's no way I'd do SP :rotfl: Carbs are soooooo yummy! And actually, on the weight loss front, apart from my first week, I don't think SP made any difference to my losses on the scales.

It tends to work for me during a working day, I just leave the house with a bag of fruit and veg... and munch. The issue is that OH has cooked SP teas (he does not know he has done this). This morning, he said that there was not much in, I suggested he cooked the steak in the fridge, with chips (sw ones for me), mushrooms and peas. So hoping he does a nice meal!
