    hello all,

Welcome to Lucia - believe me if I can do SW anyone can!

Hugs to beanie, jay and Mrs Ryan and anyone else you needs them.

Best of luck Kathryn, I'm sure it will all be worth it in the end and I'll be thinking of you over the next few days.

Welcome back joedenise, interesting that you didn't love The Gambia.I have friends who go there regularly and love it but when they talk about it I've always thought it sounded boring - not that I'd say that to them of course...

What a fantastic loss SSM and bubbs too :T and all those who lost or STS which is more than I managed

+1 lb well deserved tbh, lots of syns came my way this week but back on it now. After all it's only 2 weeks to the wedding and that dress needs a bit more off or I really will bulge in all the wrong places

For those talking about bra sizes, my beloved OH commented mournfully about 5 stone in ' oh you've lost loads and you look great but your boobs have got smaller' what a charmer eh? My answer was something along the lines of ' so has my @rse my love' ...

Get yourself some good hold in underwear for the dress.... it is well worth it.

I think most men miss our large boobs....:D:D:D:D

I was at a celebratory event today so no choice at all about food for lunch. Over my syns for the third day running as a result. I've only got 1 syn left for tomorrow until I reset for the week! Hopefully I can manage a non syn day with a little planning.

    Breakfast:skipped
Lunch: mushroom soup, chicken and mixed veg with gravy, tarte tatin
Dinner: beef stir fry with noodles. Fat free rhubarb yoghurt

I stayed off the alcohol but I had a glass of elderflower cordial for the toast.

I'm guesstimating at 21.5 today, which is 6 for soup, 3 for gravy, 2.5 for elderflower and 10 for the tarte tatin (it was a tiny portion)

    HEA milk. No HEB today.

I've ended up missing breakfast for last few days so need to start getting back into better habits there and also to make sure I eat my HEBs and speed.

I am terrible at eating breakfast as I leave the house for 6 am, and have a long drive. So OH packs me coffee and breakfast for my journey. Breakfast now is a bag of fruit and veg, that I graze on all day. :D:D:D:D

    Morning all

Kathryna, best of luck for today.

Yesterday was an odd day for me, food wise. Nothing satisfied. I *think* I stayed under on Syns. Today's plan:

B - Baked oats with blueberries and a yoghurt
L - Poached salmon fillet with salad and wholemeal pasta
D - Meatballs in a tomato sauce with tagliatelle
    S- The usual fruit

I'll make a real effort to drink more water today. I have a bottle that holds 650ml at a time.

Incidentally, thanks to everyone that has offered help with my planned SP days. I'm going to have a stab at this at the weekend.

Lioness - I don't know if you're aware but blueberries are just Free not Speed. It would be better to have raspberries, strawberries etc rather than the blueberries, I think they are the only berry which isn't Speed!

Are there lots of veg in the meatballs & tomato sauce? If not then you don't have enough Speed there either.

You really need to make sure you have at least 1/3 Speed foods a day. When doing SP you need to have a minimum of 50% speed and no Free foods at all, including yoghurt. But you do at least get 2 HEBs which is a bonus!

    Today's plan:

B - bacon, spring onion, mushroom, pepper omelette
L - roast beef & LO coleslaw sandwich - HEB + 1.5 for 1tsp of Lurpak spreadable butter (mayo in coleslaw synned yesterday)
D - Beef stew which I made yesterday, mash, cabbage. I always think stew tastes better when it is reheated. I made enough for another meal for both of us which has gone into the freezer for some time next month.

    HEA - 1% milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - butter 1.5

I think blueberries became speed about 10 days ago Denise. There was a flurry of conversation about it here and also on Facebook.

Thanks. I do usually have raspberries but I'd run out :-)The meatball sauce will have loads of veg; onions, peppers, carrots, leeks, mushrooms and toms. I'm going to give SP a go at the weekend. In the meantime I'll work on keeping the amount of speed foods high as this is likely the reason I'm not losing as well as I'd like.

Thanks Nicki. I hadn't seen that because I was on holiday and didn't read back when I got home as there was far too many pages to catch up on! I think this must be one of the fastest moving threads on MSE!
