Through the op. Doc happy with how it went. Feeling rather sore but no more than expected. Wondering how many syns are in the wallpaper paste they offered me earlier :s

Got some WiFi but really slow.

Glad you're through the op and that the Dr is happy with how it went.

I certainly wouldn't be worryig about how many syns there are in the "wallpaper paste" they offered you!

    Hope you get home quickly.

:j thanks so much for posting kathrynha. So glad all is well. Keep in touch.:)

:T on your losses VALM, lightbulb and greentiger.

Hope your match goes well. I must say I was so delighted for Swans last night. It's my home town team and although it didn't do us any favours I was happy.:)

I'm eating out tonight but this pub does offer SW friendly options. It'll just be the one drink as I have a meeting straight after.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB toast, scrambled eggs, HEA milk
L: cold meat, fried veg inc. potato, beetroot
    D: steak, new potatoes, salad
Syns: brown sauce 1, dressing 4?, glass of red 10.

Going over on syns today! Been to Morries and they had packs of profiteroles for 50p (2 x 90g pots). Absolutely love them so will have for dessert today. Put them through the syn calculator and they come out at 14 syns:eek:.

Still under syns (5 days @ 15 = 75 (Sat - Wed) and I'll have had 40.5 by end of today. Don't think I'll need many tomorrow so should be OK.
Not expecting to be back in target range but hopefully will be less than the 1/2 stone it was when I got back Sat morning!

Thanks for all the congrats. I do feel a fraud as I was STS for so long.... but at least I was able to wind OH up which was priceless (I know I should not be mean... but he was rather funny).

I think I have unintentionally managed a SP day.

    Todays food

    Breakfast/lunch/grazing throughout the day
    Carrots (full pk)
    Turkey (full pk)
    Blueberries

    Evening meal
LF mince, onions, mushrooms, spinach cooked in chopped toms.

I was going to have a yoghurt with fruit - but I am stuffed

bubbs, I hope hubby is going to take you out somewhere nice in your new dress. x

Lucia, welcome. The wealth of knowledge and support on here is priceless x
Not had time to go and try it on yet:o chasing my tail this eek as hen i finish work (i only work part time) but then i have to come back home (my sis's) walk the dogs then go back to pick hubby up from work
Completely forgot to post over the past few days. 1.5 lbs off.

Managed not to have my treat day on Saturday, so hoping for a better loss next week. Hope everyone is good x
    :T:T:T well done

    hello all,

Welcome to Lucia - believe me if I can do SW anyone can!

Hugs to beanie, jay and Mrs Ryan and anyone else you needs them.

Best of luck Kathryn, I'm sure it will all be worth it in the end and I'll be thinking of you over the next few days.

Welcome back joedenise, interesting that you didn't love The Gambia.I have friends who go there regularly and love it but when they talk about it I've always thought it sounded boring - not that I'd say that to them of course...

What a fantastic loss SSM and bubbs too :T and all those who lost or STS which is more than I managed

+1 lb well deserved tbh, lots of syns came my way this week but back on it now. After all it's only 2 weeks to the wedding and that dress needs a bit more off or I really will bulge in all the wrong places

For those talking about bra sizes, my beloved OH commented mournfully about 5 stone in ' oh you've lost loads and you look great but your boobs have got smaller' what a charmer eh? My answer was something along the lines of ' so has my @rse my love' ...

This cracked me up, how much have you lost? Is it your wedding?

It's well known that there are no syns whatsoever in hospital food, as it's largely inedible! Glad all went well.
  • Hello! I'm a long time lurker and would like to join you if that's ok.

I did SW and lost two stone two lb, reaching target last summer. Since then I had a couple of holidays and Chrstimas, and basically just stopped for 6 months.

Is like to get back to target by summer, so after weighing myself this morning have 13lbs to shed. I'm hoping by posting on here I'll be more accountable and can save myself the money of going to group.

    Here's my food diary today:

Breakfast- overnight oats with mixed berries
Lunch- sweet chilli chicken chunks (1 syn), boiled eggs, cucumber sticks, tomatoes
    Dinner- Butternut Squash Alfredo
    Snacks- chocolate (5)
    HEA milk
    HEN oats

I might have some oranges in a bit and some jelly, for an extra 2 syns

Hope everyone has had a good day!
