Hi all, I haven't posted for ages. Did well on sw a couple of years ago and now starting again after putting it all back on
Could somebody explain something I don't fully understand pls? I've been wondering why certain foods are on the HexB list (ie restricted.....bread, oats etc) and other similar foods aren't - for example, wholewheat pasta/rice/couscous. Sorry if it's a thick question! Thanks x

Re the painkillers, hope you look in better shape than Billy on Corrie at any rate
And as for your daughter, I've always said sport is bad for you.
No idea if I look better than Billy on Corrie, but not feeling great with it. Constant headache, stomach cramps and stuff, but you kind of get used to it.
And yes, sport is soooooo bad and dangerous. Think I'll stay safe and avoid itZebras rock0 -

Been thinking of you often, how are things? Are you still on that restrictive diet?
Well done on an excellent loss Dawyldthing! What you said about a certain seat reminded me that the last time I went to the cinema and got on a train, my bum was touching the sides for the first time ever. Would be nice not to have that happen again.
Am stuffed from my breakfast. I think the key is to remember how much you can eat on SW and make the most of it.
This was in a car, he can be a bit sarcy at times. But once flew with easy jet and they asked me if I wanted the seatbelt extender. Was mortified at myself, did try and lose weight but this has been the only thing that has worked:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one:beer::beer::beer:

Although they say the latter is 'free foods', I get better losses when I eat them in moderation, like just a small portion with one of my meals:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one:beer::beer::beer:

Morning all
Just a quick post to say last weeks WI (Wednesday 21) was +3
Todays WI (Monday 26) is -1.5
I took a 2 week hol from group and had I WId the week I came back it would have been +5.5 on the scales- so last week I had actually lost 2.5 and then this weeks result means I have lost 4lbs of a 5.5 gain so not much more before my big holiday gain is off. I wanted to be at target for my awards evening but its only 7 weeks away and I have 21lbs to lose. 3lbs a week for me is not doablebut if I could get a stone off to get me into the target stone bracket at least that will do.

Thanks for the chart, Kathryn. Congratulations SOTWs, Lioness and Nicki.
Put me down for -3.8lbs please; really happy about that. It doesn’t wipe out last week, but it’s a step in the right direction. Now to kick on for a change. I need 2.9 off next week to burst the stone barrier, but I think that is very unlikely.
That’s a brilliant loss, dawyldthing. Well done, Mrs_R.
Delighted for your big news, Kathryn.

Thanks for the chart, kathryna. It's a pleasant surprise to be (joint) SOTW. Congrats, Nicki. Another 5lb and I'll have hit my 10%.
Well done on the 3.8lb greentiger. That's a great loss.0 -
Wow!! Great losses today. Congratulations!:T
And you just can't go to Whitby without having fish and chips poohsticks. It's the law!!:D
I'm sure you're right and the occasional smoothie won't matter nicki. I think it's more than just about the amount of fruit though, it's to do with the fibre being broken down before you digest it.dawyldthing wrote: »Although they say the latter is 'free foods', I get better losses when I eat them in moderation, like just a small portion with one of my meals
SW are definitely moving that way which is why they 'invented' SP. I think there are other issues about bread and cereal too like how easily you can wolf it down without cooking and how you can spread it with jam or butter!
I'm out for a pub meal later which we've booked in advance. I've chosen wisely so it'll just be 'house dressing' to syn. I'm OK for syns through to Wednesday but I'm sure we'll have another monster porage portion as it's so cold so I want to save them. It's such a shame I can't carry over HEBsas I've only had a single slice of toast recently most days.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, (half) HEB toast, fried egg, mushrooms, tomatoes, ham
L: cold pork with LO potato, veg and picklessalmon with roasted veg and baby potatoes
Syns: tbc0
