:hello: Hi, am I welcome back in the fold, even though I've gone way off track and put on about a stone since I last posted?

Seems I stopped posting last November, which funnily enough coincided with me starting a new job, which turned out to be extremely busy and stressful with an overriding feeling of always being in trouble for something. Stress and unhappiness are my biggest overeating triggers so I just went completely off the rails. I'm pleased to say I'm starting a new job on Thursday though, somewhere I used to work, so I know it should have a nicer atmosphere and there are great benefits such as a gym and fitness classes.

My sprained ankle has also finally healed after about eight months, and I've been upping my miles since new year. I've lost a lot of fitness though and all I can feel when I'm running is my belly :(

I feel rotten at the mo, none of my clothes fit and my body is crying out for some vegetables.

I've cleared all my old info off my SW account (I'm an online member) and am starting afresh tomorrow. I've been doing some number crunching and I have 20lbs to lose to get back into the 'healthy' BMI bracket (yes I know that's not a perfect tool), and I'd like to do that by my upcoming half marathon, which is 12 weeks away. 1.7lbs a week should be doable shouldn't it?!

I haven't really read back, I'll have to catch up as I go along, but it's nice to see lots of newbies posting, and lots of the oldies too :D

Right, off to drag everything out of the freezer and see what I've got...

    Good to see you

  • Bleh. Period has arrived. Still that makes my 2lb off even better. Been off plan today, was well worth it. Tomorrow's plan is a speed day:

B - EITHER Oats so Simple (plain) or overnight oats with Quark. Probably the former
    L - Chicken salad
D - Fakeaway doner kebab with more salad.
S - The usual raspberries and an orange. Strawberries and nectarines aren't ripe :-(

Ohhhh, talking of which it does not seem possible but 2 yrs:eek: since my BIL:A on tues:(

I have never been to Ikea:eek:

2 years, it seems like yesterday....... but then again there has been so much that has happened since then with the mamouth house/garage empty and house move, your diagnosis and diet, etc. It is strange how time gets altered, as it really seems like it was just yesterday.

Yes you are supposed to but so far I haven't because I've been using the same amount of fruit as I'd use if just having fruit and yogurt. Now that losses are slowing down though perhaps I should start. I don't have them very often.
  • Morning all! Thanks for all the hellos :heart:GT, yes, on paper I should be in the perfect headspace - let's see!

Sending hugs Bubbs. SSM is right about time, it was my mam's 10 year anniversary a couple of weeks ago, and that feels like yesterday but also a lifetime ago.

Today I'm aiming to use up some of the oldest/bulkiest stuff in the freezer:

B - Heck chicken sausages (1), mushrooms, scrambled egg, toast (HEB), 4 syns for butter on toast and in scrambled egg.
D - Fishspiration (0.5) with grated carrot and beetroot salad (1 syn for Tesco shredded beetroot)
T - Speedy spag bol with frozen jacket spud (1), possible some green beans on the side if I'm hungry.
HEA - 250ml SS milk (measured out! :A)
HEB - 1 slice 800g loaf WM bread
Syns - 7.5 as above, plus 3-5 for coffee and hot choc

Snowing here already :\ Stay safe and warm everyone!
