That shredded beetroot was delicious, not cheap though £1 for a small tub from tesco, sweet and smoky

Yes but i had another 3 bits of chicken:rotfl::rotfl: i LOVE beetroot:DEvening all.
Change of plan today - was out longer than expected this morning so had the soup with a couple of crispbreads, a babybel light and an orange at about 3pm, then did the Tom Kerridge turkey and courgette burgers for tea with salad and HM coleslaw (no bread). I won't be making them again as I found them a bit tasteless. To make up for that I've just had a Twirl, so 4 syns over for the day. I'll get these back over the week.
Bubbs your tea looks just like mine yesterday apart from the beetroot, which I hate. I love beetroot too.
Used to love white bread sandwiches with beetroot & mayonaise.

Evening everyone.
Not had a great day. Got word early this morning that my grandmother was dying. She was gone by the time we got to the house, which was far quicker than anyone expected. It seems ridiculous, because she was 92, and we've been saying for years that she wouldn't last much longer, but we're all shocked that she's gone
I did my very best to stay on plan, but I've had no speed today. Feeling good though that I made the decision to come home for dinner rather than staying around for the party food. The wake is tomorrow evening, but I'll eat my dinner in the middle of the day and bring my own food with me. We have a nice bottle of whisky for the toast so I'll syn what I have as best I can. I'll try and stay clear of any other alcohol. Funeral is Sunday, and we're getting in caterers, so I might chance some soup and use all my syns on it.
Just a reminder....I'm in Ireland! We do funerals much quicker over here and we eat and drink our way through it! I remember when I started my last job we had trainers over from London, and they were shocked when we explained Irish funerals to them :rotfl:Back on the slimming world wagon 04.01.18
