Thinking of you both. :A0 -
Hi folks, I'm back after an unexpected absence. I don't know why, but my IP address was banned! Glad to see it's sorted now. I'll take a while to catch up.
Monday was +0.6lbs, sadly. This week's not been much better.Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -

Evening everyone.
Not had a great day. Got word early this morning that my grandmother was dying. She was gone by the time we got to the house, which was far quicker than anyone expected. It seems ridiculous, because she was 92, and we've been saying for years that she wouldn't last much longer, but we're all shocked that she's goneI did my very best to stay on plan, but I've had no speed today. Feeling good though that I made the decision to come home for dinner rather than staying around for the party food. The wake is tomorrow evening, but I'll eat my dinner in the middle of the day and bring my own food with me. We have a nice bottle of whisky for the toast so I'll syn what I have as best I can. I'll try and stay clear of any other alcohol. Funeral is Sunday, and we're getting in caterers, so I might chance some soup and use all my syns on it.
Just a reminder....I'm in Ireland! We do funerals much quicker over here and we eat and drink our way through it! I remember when I started my last job we had trainers over from London, and they were shocked when we explained Irish funerals to them :rotfl:
So sorry for your loss. Wish our funerals were as quick as that. Take care xBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Condolences to both Whiplashy and Lush, and welcome to GAF.
Some great weightlosses this week - well done to you all, and commiserations to the gainers.
I'm pleased to add to the losses with -2lb. That takes me over my target for this particular challenge and, like Mrs Ryan, past my 3 stone in total. Still a long way to go though...
Plan for today;
B - kippers, wholemeal bread (HEXB)
L - ham & cheese (HEXA) salad with red pepper
D - ALDI lamb rogan josh with cauli rice
Snacks - melon, clementines0 -
Sorry for your losses Whiplashy and LLS. Will be thinking of you.
Ended yesterday on 9 syns so have pulled back the extra one I had on Thursday night.
DH cooked breakfast this morning but no Speed!
Today's menu:
B - egg & beans on toast
L - ham salad; syn free dressing
D - spag bol - will use up loads of odds & ends from the fridge! There's a single carrot that needs using, the end of a tin of sweetcorn, some celery. Will also add the usual culprits - onions, garlic, tomato puree, tin tomatoes.
I'm sure with the salad and spag bol it'll be a third Speed today. Also have apples & satsumas if want any snacks during the day.
HEA - 1% milk
HEB - bread
Syns - probably a couple of G&Ts this evening; and possibly a Hifi Fruit & Nut for 3 syns. Can't say I rave about them like some of my group!

Condolences to Whiplashy and Lush x
1lb off for me today. I!!!8217;m happy with any loss, even though I don!t seem to get much more than a pound a week. Hopefully that means it will stay off. Iv been exercising a lot and got my bronze and silver body magic awards today, so the first bling for my book. Measured today and havelost 2 inches from my waist since I started, so I am happy with that. Have a good day everyone xSave £12k in 2019 #111 £440.39/£4000
