  • Evening all. Wasn't too hopeful for weigh in tonight as I went a bit mad on the syns during the week. Certainly didn't feel like I'd lost. Nice surprise to get -2 lbs :)

Some great losses again this week. Congrats to all :j:j:j Beanie did you do anything different this week? Very impressive loss!

I bought myself a 6 week countdown tonight. I have a two day spa break with my mum booked in March, and the countdown will bring me up to a couple weeks before. I want as much off as possible by then, so that hopefully it will motivate me not to go too mad when I'm away.

Discovered Aldi do a low calorie wine tonight. How did I not know this???? I haven't had a drink since I started back, and it's only 5.5 syns for 250ml. Have a bottle chilling in the fridge for tomorrow night :)

    Evening everyone.

Has anyone who has reached target or is anyone getting close and is finding you're self sabotaging?

My discipline has gone out of the window and I want to eat everything I can get my hands on! It's my TOTM so I think that has something to do with it. I'm only 5.5lbs away from my target, I need to stop being silly!

That will be me, then, as you'll see from the chart! I've 3lbs to go and getting nowhere - in fact I'm still 1/2lb up from before Christmas!

Tasters this morning were much better than usual and everybody actually bought FREE foods as they were supposed to. I'd planned on doing a syn free pizza with a hash brown base but when I went to get the potatoes to make the base I only had one potato left so that idea went out the window! Ended up making the hummous from the SW website. I think it's a bit bland but it seemed to go down well along with the carrot sticks I bought on the way into group.

I don't like the SW recipe Joedenise. I use a large tin of chickpeas, good tablespoon of fat free greek yoghurt, garlic, salt, squeeze of lemon and add other flavourings as required all whizzed up together. Because there's no oil in it it can be a bit grainy but the yoghurt smooths it out a bit. Or this one uses cottage cheese

I lost 4lb this week. Managed to improve my bloating this week too by using flaxseed as a healthy extra. Also started a new exercise class. Would be so cool if I could lose 2.5lb by next week and get half stone award but we'll see.

Thanks - it went to the person currently in post, which always stings as it feels like the interviews are very much weighted in their favour.

I cracked and had the following:

Small bag Milky Buttons (5.5), 2 finger KitKat (5.5), single truffle (3?) and a single Green & Black dark chocolate salted caramel (4?)

Guessed with a couple of those but assuming I'm in the ballpark that's a total of 20 syns for the day (including the salad cream at lunch). I am sure I was under yesterday though.

I hate when that happens too. X

    Morning.

At last, I can report1lb off, so 2 and a tiny bit left to target. Apart from a rich tea biscuit incident I've stuck to plan, and come in a bit under syns overall so I can do it!
  • Twinkletoes..... the employer did not deserve to have you working for them.... onwards and upwards my girl x

Thank you. That's what my family said :rotfl:
