  • Congrats on the loss, Kathryna and happy birthday SSM and Dustydigger.

Today has been an odd one; I had a job interview this morning and then went to the dentist with my husband this afternoon, so food has taken a back seat.

B - None. Was too nervous
L - LO cajun chicken with the dirty fries and a handful of veg
D - Meatballs in a tomato sauce (I intend adding leeks, onions, carrots peppers and, of course, tomatoes). I'll have that with tagliatelle.

I might make myself baked oats with apples and 22 tablespoons of maple syrup so will add 4 syns for that.

Congratulations to all the losers and hugs to any poorlies.

    - 2lbs.this week quite happy with that.Would have liked to lose more but I'm determined to carry on. Bought a 12 week countdown,so not wanting to waste money I'm definately going to go to group.

    ilovetea xx
:T 2lbs is good. Nothing to complain about there, that could be a stone in 7 weeks.:D

Thanks for the tip about the frozen rice lightbulb . I've started to resent using microwave pouches as they're a waste of syns IMO but good to have something easy for busy days. Wholegrain is healthy but takes ages to cook from scratch so I'll get some for the freezer. I made my own pilau and froze it to go with the Aldi curry.

Its been a good day for typos. I don't think I'd have 22 spoons of syrup lioness . You might go over your syns! :rotfl:

Happy Birthday SSM and dusty. Hope you both have a lovely day :)

Snowing on and off here all day. Have to get to town tomorrow morning, as I won a facebook competition for a load of crisps. The company are based over an hour from me, but one of the guys will be up in a town half an hour away in the morning. Hopefully the snow won't land! There's an Iceland and a Tesco in the town, so hopefully I'll have time to stock up on some stuff. Have to get back for WI though which is in a village about quarter of an hour away. Busy day tomorrow! Definitely don't need snow!

Congrats on the loss Kathrynha and ilovetea:j

Happy Birthday Dusty & SSM - well done on the loss Kathrynha & I lovetea!

Well I bit the bullet this morning & texted my consultant asking if I could have a chat as to how I feel on Saturday and to her credit she replied straight away. There was a little bit of a conversation and it was nice to know she had felt the same recently but we'd have a longer chat when I see her Saturday.

I'm going swimming later on but do really need to do a food shop - it's getting stupid now.

Well done on the loss ILoveTea.

Managed not too bad with lunch out today. It was an all you can eat place, but I made good use of the salad bar and the fruit that goes with the chocolate fountain.
Each time I went up I made sure a third of my plate was speed and I picked not too stupidly for the other two thirds, although it obviously had syns in it.

Well done Kathryn. It can be very difficult to make wise choices at all you can eat places. I'm not keen on those sorts of places - I'd rather go to pub, cafe or restaurant where I can choose a sensible meal.

So do I, but it wasn't my choice. Plan to be good for the rest of the week to make up for it.
