Happy birthday Dustydigger, enjoy every moment of your special day.
All the best people have their birthday on the lastest day of the firstest month..... (as I used to say as a child).
Sadly I am off to work, but I got up to a huge bunch of flowers, alcohol (which the kids will drink).......... and the girls at work have promised me that I can have chippy chips today! :T:T:T:T:T:T
I so excited to have chips!!
Enjoy the chips ssm.
I remember as a kid a skipping rope game where you jumped in on your birth dates
''All in by January,February,March etc'' and ''All out by the the first, the second the third etc'' I always got caught our from jumping in on the first month and having to wait till the last! I was relieved to take my turn on the rope!:rotfl::rotfl:0 -

Happy Birthday SSM and Dusty:T Enjoy your day.
Stuck to plan yesterday - HM hummus was good but overdid it on the garlic!
Todays menu
B Boiled eggs, 4 crispbreads with a scrape of spread
Fruit mid morning for speed
L Cauli soup, chicken salad
D Lamb casserole with lots of veg and a can of butter beans I opened by mistake yesterday. If I don't have potatoes is this a speed day??? Not sure about the butter beans...0 -
Morning all,
Kathryna - thanks for the chart, congratulations on your loss and glad to hear you are getting better
Happy birthday SSM and Dustydigger
Just got bad from an ALDI shop - I haven't been to one for a while as our nearest one is currently closed for refurbishment. But I was keen to try their rogan josh so we went further afield to get some.
Couldn't see the vege burgers though, which sound tasty - perhaps they haven't reached us yet ?.
Whilst there as well as the rogan josh I also picked up some of their frozen 'Slimwell' ready meals to try - sweet potato curry, chicken saag, and bolognese ragu, which I believe are all zero syns ?
And I also spotted in their freezer section, badged as 'new' - cauliflower rice. They do three varieties - plain, with parsley or 'mediterranean style' - which according to the packet is actually cauliflower, courgettes, peppers and onions. I bought a bag of the latter to try when we can't get a fresh cauliflower - at 79p a bag it's not too expensive.Plan for today;
Breakfast - cheese omelette (HEXA), small slice wholemeal bread (1/2 HEXB)
Lunch - ham with mixed leaf slad, red pepper slices, wholemeal bread (1/2 HEXB)
Dinner: Chicken casserole
Snacks: banana, clementines, melon, pear0 -
Happy birthday Dusty & SSM. Enjoy your birthday celebrations today and then get straight back on plan!
Mrs R - You'll soon get used to only having 15 syns rather than 20 and if you go over occasionally it'll still be better than having 20 every day.
Congratulations Kathryn - that's an amazing loss this week after all the problems. Hope next week is as good for you.
Have stuck to plan all week and well within syns so hoping for a good loss this week and with a bit of luck get back into target range - only need 1.5lb to get there but unfortunately for me that's the most I've ever lost in a week over the whole time I've been doing SW.
Today's plan:
B - poached eggs on toast; apple
L - LO sweet chilli prawn noodles
D - HM sweet & sour pork (from freezer) with rice
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - no idea at the moment but will definitely have some as not really had enough this week

Many Happy Returns ssm and dusty! Have a great day and enjoy all the syns that you have. SW has to fit in with life not the other way round.:A
Hope you're lucky tomorrow denise. I've not been to WI since before Christmas and I still feel that I'm hovering around the top of range despite sticking to plan fairly well. I've got a clear week coming up with no meals out planned so I'm going to try my best and look to WI next Thursday.
That does look like a SP day esmy. Provided you haven't got any free veg (like parsnips or anything) in the casserole you'll be fine. Butterbeans are pulses so Protein.p00hsticks wrote: »Just got bad from an ALDI shop - I haven't been to one for a while as our nearest one is currently closed for refurbishment. Really not sure about those. There was a big fuss when they first came out but all has gone quiet. I tend to think they are free but SW doesn't want to admit it.:)p00hsticks wrote: »And I also spotted in their freezer section, badged as 'new' - cauliflower rice. I saw those too. Let us know how you get on. They seemed like a good idea to have in the freezer.p00hsticks wrote: »Breakfast - cheese omelette (HEXA), small slice wholemeal bread (1/2 HEXB)

Good to see you having three meals. I always think your menu looks a bit thin on the ground with just brunch:)
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, 2 HEB Weetabix, HEA milk
L: savoury rice with ham and stir fry vegSavoury mince with new potatoes, carrots, kale and cauliflower, Satsuma at football
Syns: none planned
I have about 9 syns left but I'm not going to use them tohel offset any extra milk or guestimating across the week.0 -
Hi Everyone,
Well done on all the losses x
Plan for today:
B: Boiled eggs then yogurt & fruit
L: HM veg & lentil soup, 4 ryvita (HEB), turkey and tomatoHM veg chilli & rice - I'm cheating and using Asda frozen wholegrain rice as I've got a gym class tonight and will be in a rush. No syns for the rice though.
Syns so far are a bag of Sensations popadoms (3 syns) and a Hi Fi fruit & nut (3 syns). I'm going to split my HEA - a wee bit of milk for a couple of cups of tea and then a sprinkling of grated low fat cheese for my chilli.
