Has anyone who has reached target or is anyone getting close and is finding you're self sabotaging?

My discipline has gone out of the window and I want to eat everything I can get my hands on! It's my TOTM so I think that has something to do with it. I'm only 5.5lbs away from my target, I need to stop being silly!

  • 2.5 lb off for me this week

I haven't got much on this week so will be doing my best to resist temptation. I always find it so hard to avoid when people bring treats to work though!

Well done on your losses Kathryn, MissTeach, Cloud and all other losers and STSers.

    Commiserations to anyone who's gained.

I've been going to a group but I'm doing it by myself for the next few months (I'm trying to avoid people/infections whilst I have treatment for my recent cancer diagnosis).

Luckily my employer is being very supportive and understanding so that's one less stress.

I've weighed this morning and I'm declaring a 2lb loss. I suspect it would have been a STS at group tonight (clothes, day's food & drink etc,) but I figured I have to start somewhere and it's 2lb less than my last week's 'at group' weight. I hope that makes sense to someone! :o

    Thanks Kathryn.

It does, it means one less stress which can only be a good thing whilst I fight the biggest battle.

Thank-you, you look after yourself too. :A

You'll get the support from this thread whilst you're going it alone. I can well understand you wanting to avoid infections at this time. Some people have no consideration for others when in comes to coughs, colds etc I always stay away if I'm like that.

Well done to all the losers.

I'm very disappointed to have only lost 0.5lb when I have been completely on plan all week but my consultant thinks I may have not had enough syns as I didn't use the full 105 like I usually do. That's probably because I was on the "gin" diet this week rather than the "wine" diet!!! Will stick with it again this week and try to shift the lb I need to get back into target range.

It always seems easier to keep my weight reasonably steady once I'm in target. I'm sure it's because I don't overthink things like I do when I'm trying to lose.

Tasters this morning were much better than usual and everybody actually bought FREE foods as they were supposed to. I'd planned on doing a syn free pizza with a hash brown base but when I went to get the potatoes to make the base I only had one potato left so that idea went out the window! Ended up making the hummous from the SW website. I think it's a bit bland but it seemed to go down well along with the carrot sticks I bought on the way into group.

    Today's plan:

B - tasters at group including various quiches, crabsticks, hummous & carrots and loads of different fruit. I was stuffed after, LOL!
L - jacket potato, beans & salad - didn't each much of the potatoes & beans but managed about 3/4 of the salad so at least had some Speed
D - roast pork in syn free gravy (from freezer); potatoes, brussels & peas

    HEA - milk
    HEB - Hi Fi bars
Syns - not sure but will make sure I have some this evening.

    Denise
