Thanks for all the birthday wishes x
I did not have chips. The girl I was having them with was caught up with something and I ended up going to an unplanned meeting..... I went via Tesco well that was a mistake as I really wanted chips.
Breakfast
Skyr and apple
Carrot
Lunch
Tesco's crustless quiche (note to self examine packaging before stuffing in mouth.... paper tastes yuck).
apple
carrots
ham
one whole pack of mikado
and one of those healthy eating bars (I lost my V on this today).
Tea
tomato, onion, spinach and pasta.
So I pigged out as I drove to the meeting, and caused havoc at the meeting....... disagreeing with everything (based on sound legal principles.... but it really was nothing to do with me). Someone I know well, and who I have previously joked about the amount of carrots I eat and the affect that carrots have on the body (did you know that they meet the criteria for a drug).... well afterwards she asked me if I had not had my daily fix of carrots! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
DS3 rang me to ask if I like the flowers he left this morning. OH is so in trouble as he said they were from him......... god help him. He will be crawling to the chip shop to placate me! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Happy birthday Dusty
Happy birthday Sunshine
I make my own stock too. Just put the remains of a joint in the slow cooker with some water for the day, then strain when I get home, and leave lid off to reduce, then freeze it in ice cube trays
I do it out of need only though, as I'm not allowed bought stock
I don't think you can beat proper home made stock.... the packet stuff is just not as nice or plentiful xdustydigger wrote: »Enjoy the chips ssm.
I remember as a kid a skipping rope game where you jumped in on your birth dates
''All in by January,February,March etc'' and ''All out by the the first, the second the third etc'' I always got caught our from jumping in on the first month and having to wait till the last! I was relieved to take my turn on the rope!:rotfl::rotfl:

Thank god, I was a tomboy and never played this game!

Happy Birthday you two!
Just back from WI and reporting -0.5lb. A loss is a loss so I'll take it. I am very sore today after body pump yesterday but hoping this muscle I'm building up will eventually help me to continue burning the fat off!
I avoided the biscuits at my moderation meeting too and even took my own sweetener for my coffee!
3 syns used so far today on my toad in the hole for dinner!
Onwards! Zumba is booked for tomorrow night.0 -

Had a good day yesterday by only consuming 5.5 Syns over the day. I'd gone over by 9 on Monday so Balance restored. Was going to have other half of Baxters Minestrone soup from yesterday but :-
(A) I want Porridge for breakfast as it's so cold and
(B) I want a jacket for lunch which I'll buy at lunch time. Will have beans with it.
(C) it wasn't nice. Smelt very strongly of garlic when I opened the tin and wasn't so appealing when heated up.
We are having chicken curry noodle bowl for tea which has minimal Syns in it due to the coconut milk.
Emma is home from Uni this weekend and we're collecting her from the Station tonight. So hope that it's Victoria so I can get a Starbucks.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. Not had a good week this week, I get weighed on Saturday so will be happy if I haven't gained any weight. Am well over on syns, full bottle of red wine, out for afternoon tea etc. Am back on plan so will do better next week.0

Generally happy with how yesterday went food wise, but need to be a bit good to make up for yesterday's lunch as the syns are rather unknown
Today's plan:
Breakfast - porridge and fruit
Lunch - salad
Dinner - shepherds pie
HA - milk and cheese
HB - oats
Syns - salad dressing (1)Zebras rock0
