That is really good, I found I was naturally pulling my tummy in when I was swimming which is a massive bonus!

And that is why I eat them!

I started with cucumber.... what I would say is never ever eat a whole one whilst driving on the M1..... the cars over taking me was braking, slowing down to have another look!

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

SSM you owe me a new phone screen :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:I spat my water all over mine :rotfl:

    Today’s menu:
B: HEXB bran flakes with HEXA milk and blueberries, water
L: Chicken salad, apple, satsuma, water, coffee with 1/2 tsp CoffeeMate (1/2 a syn)
T: Chicken fillets with Nando’s mild sauce (3.5) peas, sugar snaps, baby corn, carrots, cauliflower, broccoli. Quark with 2 x Highlights (4)
S: Hula Hoops Pufts (3.5) HiFi (3) water
    Syns:14.5
I’m struggling with reducing my syns. I used to use between 16-20 so trying to get them under 15 is so hard! My losses have stalled- I know I was so naughty Saturday which really doesn’t help! I’m leaving it as late as possible to weigh this week, I’m weighing at my old group on Thursday. I’m so cross with myself- I was so close to that 3 stone award and now I’m further away again!
    Night all xx

  • Well done Kathrynha. That's fab!

I've got weigh in tomorrow. I've just got back from Body Pump class and oh my god am I hurting!! Not sure what kind of impact that will have on the scales tomorrow if I am really aching from the exercise! Did 30 mins on the cross trainer before body pump too. So all in all, I've had a completely on-track week and have done loads of exercise too. Just need to avoid the biscuits at my moderation meeting tomorrow after school!

Great loss kathrynha . So pleased for you!:T

ssm , I'd say proper chicken stock is when you either boil up the carcass or save the meat juices and skim off the fat. But if life's too short to stuff a mushroom then I'll stick to cubes or stock pots! :D

    I gained half a pound
Its my 70th birthday tomorrow, and some family are away,so we started celebrating early last weekend! Oh dear.chocolate liqueurs were my downfall!clear.pngclear.pngOnly half a pound gain is probably quite reasonable in the circumstances!:D:D:D:D
clear.pngclear.pngclear.png.Back in days of yore before the diabetes and slimming issues I could have put on much more.
Good thing too I am having a Dry January,or it could have been disastrous with all the whiskey:eek::eek:clear.pngclear.pngclear.pngclear.png So that makes 3st 13 lbs lost. Dont expect to lose anything this week, birthday tomorrow, sure to have visitors, then 14 family members are all going for an all-you-can-eat meal at an Indian restaurant on Saturday.Cant see me losing anything by next Tuesday really, but once I get back into things the following week,I need to get stuck in. Its to be a Free Food February,so that might be a spur. I lost 6lbs in January, would be happy with 4 in February . We'll see!:):):)
Was Taster night,I really enjoyed a very nice fakeaway tikka masala,I am tempted to try making it sometime, though not sure if I could get Mr Dusty to try it:D:D:D

Happy birthday Dustybigger, enjoy every moment of you special day.

All the best people have their birthday on the lastest day of the firstest month..... (as I used to say as a child).

Sadly I am off to work, but I got up to a huge bunch of flowers, alcohol (which the kids will drink).......... and the girls at work have promised me that I can have chippy chips today! :T:T:T:T:T:T

I so excited to have chips!!

I make my own stock too. Just put the remains of a joint in the slow cooker with some water for the day, then strain when I get home, and leave lid off to reduce, then freeze it in ice cube trays
I do it out of need only though, as I'm not allowed bought stock
