Not sure if I've posted my menu plan today but don't think I have. If I have then apologies but here it is:

    It's a Green day today:

    B - baked oats with apple (HEB1)
L - sweet chilli prawn noodles with HM Syn Free chilli sauce (0.5 HEB2 for prawns)
D - HM Hash Brown pizza with loads of veggies on top; topped with mozzarella (HEA2 + 1.5)

    HEA1 - milk in teas
    HEA2 - 50g mozzarella
    HEB1 - porridge oats
    HEB2 - prawns (0.5); 2 Ryvitas (0.5)

Syns - mozzarella 1.5; Laughing Cow Light 1; 2 small glasses red wine 10

Have just added up syns for the week and I'm still very low! (that's got to be a first, LOL!). May have another small glass of wine if I fancy it.

Have been to the golf range again this morning for about 45 minutes and have booked an on-course golf lesson for Friday morning which should be about 1.5-2 hours. Just hope it isn't too much so soon after restarting to play golf.

I've messed up my HEA but never mind. Planned evening meals at weekend and tonight we are having SW Spaghetti Carbonara.

Had mushroom omelette for breakfast with baked beans. Measured out my allowance of milk, poured some in the omelette and drank the rest not accounting for the Parmesan cheese I'll have later.

For lunch I've had half can of Baxters Carrot and Butterbean soup (HEB), chicken drumstick and salad packed with lettuce, spinach, gherkins, cucumber, tomatoes, red pepper, beetroot and sweet corn.

Will need to have another side salad with tea for more speed.

I think there are 7.5 Syns in the Parmesan. I've had a Subway cappuccino too which I think is 3 Syns.

There was a change of plan for tea because MRM was late home and had already eaten. The only thing I could think to rustle up was poached egg, beans, SW chips and mushrooms. Very little speed, granted but no further Syns.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Just a glass of grapefruit squash! :D

I always feel dehydrated in the morning so have it instead of juice. It's Sainsbury's and the least sweet squash I've found.

Whiplashy- I wasn’t impressed either - much prefer the orange with chocolate sprinkles.

SSW - I swim for an hour so it’s how many lengths I can do in that time ....did 40 tonight so was pleased with that.

That is really good, I found I was naturally pulling my tummy in when I was swimming which is a massive bonus!

1kg of carrots? I feel virtuous if I eat 3...:D although I am currently awaiting a tooth extraction and so a kg would take me all day.

I didn't do as much damage as anticipated- 1lb off :j very happy given the weekend I had.

And that is why I eat them!

    Well done on the loss.

Got to admit, I can only eat carrot if it's hidden in hot food, in coleslaw or dipped in humous.
However cucumber, I can eat lots of that if I'm in the right mood

I started with cucumber.... what I would say is never ever eat a whole one whilst driving on the M1..... the cars over taking me was braking, slowing down to have another look!

I agree with MissTeach, writing down our daily food focuses the brain.

    Breakfast
    Apple and Quark
    carrots

    Lunch
    A pk of beetroot
    2 boiled eggs
    carrots

    Tea
chicken casserole (chicken, quorn, onion, carrots, potato, sweet potato, spinach and proper chicken stock).

Has anyone an idea what proper chicken stock is? Thanks

    Evening all

    Food for today:

B - Two poached eggs with smoked salmon. This was followed by half a pink grapefruit, a tangerine and some strawberries
L - Chicken salad (leaves, cucumber, peppers, beetroot and tomatoes). Slice of wholemeal bread (HEX B). Squirt of half fat salad cream (2 syns)
D - Cajun spiced oven roasted chicken with dirty fries, roasted tomatoes and mushrooms, broccoli, peas and sweetcorn. I've only had two hot drinks with milk but will still syn the cheese (reduced fat) on the fries (3.5)

Snacks - Two finger KitKat (5.5 syns)

    Total syns: 11

Can I come and live with you and share your food!

Seriously, eating cucumber was so dangerous I had to stop.

I can eat carrots without the same impact on others, I think it is because they take so long to chew that I naturally do not hold them near my mouth!

I was eating beetroot today, when someone showed me a picture of a 'friend' a man naked in bed...... I laughed so much I spat my beetroot across the desk..... :D:D:D:D:D
