  • Oh SOTW! That was a nice surprise to log on to!

Well I have taken the plunge and joined the gym. Was going to aqua aerobics twice a week on a PAYG membership so I enquired about joining up and was intending on paying monthly but then I got there and she offered me 3 months free saving £120 on the cost I was going to go for so I ended up just paying for the year. So I now need to get my backside in gear and ensure I don't pack it in like I did last time I joined a gym! This one has the pool though, which I'm likely to use a lot more.

Have booked bodypump for tomorrow night. Never been before so thought I'd give it a shot. God damn it, I will be thin one day!

Food over the whole weekend was pretty spot on. Have been under 15 syns everyday. I know I shouldn't weigh at home but I do and I'm a little miffed that my scales have not moved one single bit since Wednesday when I weighed in. Not sure why as I've been good but I'm not going to get hung up on it. On with the new healthier version of me who IS NOT GOING TO GET HUNG UP ON WHAT THE SCALES SAY! Someone remind me of that if I have sts on Weds!! I'm fitter and healthier than I was last week at least!

Congrats on SOTW Miss Teach :j:j:j

Still not feeling right today so haven't eaten much. Some deli chicken this afternoon and one of my homemade burgers this evening. Also had a raspberry doughnut Muller light as I had to pop to the shops earlier and they were on offer. Have to say I wasn't impressed with it. Certainly doesn't taste like a doughnut to me, and it was very heavy I thought. Although that could just be my dodgy stomach at the moment :rotfl:

I'm in two minds about it being worth staying to group. My group is sh*t! But I do enjoy sitting around chatting with the other members before group actually starts. I do get some good ideas and tips from people then. I've tried going it alone, and being an online member before, so I know that doesn't work for me. It's €9 a week here, so I'm certainly not going to pay that just to get weighed! I see it as my little outing for the week :rotfl: I'm not working at the moment so it's nice to get out of the house and meet people. I do wish my consultant was better though. We don't do a raffle, we don't do the SOTW basket, we do do a lot of clapping. It gets dull after awhile, especially with so many people going this time of year.

Well. I thought the consultant had to have a raffle and the SOTW basket. I am flabbergasted 😮

Weigh in for me this evening. Will get to see how much damage I have done.

    Today's plan:
    Breakfast - porridge and fruit
    Lunch - chicken salad
    Dinner - noodles

    HA - milk
    HB - oats
Syns - salad dressing (0.5) and sure there will be more

  • 1kg of carrots? I feel virtuous if I eat 3...:D although I am currently awaiting a tooth extraction and so a kg would take me all day.

I didn't do as much damage as anticipated- 1lb off :j very happy given the weekend I had.

    Well done on the loss.

Got to admit, I can only eat carrot if it's hidden in hot food, in coleslaw or dipped in humous.
However cucumber, I can eat lots of that if I'm in the right mood

  • Morning everyone,
I haven't properly caught up so well done on the losses and STS. My plan for today is:
B: All bran, berries & Skyr yogurt
    L: Speedy Quiche
    D: Mushroom pasta.
I'm still filling in my SAS log so crossing my fingers that this makes a difference in my weight loss. Unfortunately my current consultant is giving up the Saturday class in a few weeks which is a real shame as it's the first class I've been to in a while which isn't a clique, but hopefully the new consultant will be just as good as it makes a real difference to wanting to stay to Image Therapy. Have a good day x
