I talked to someone who worked at teletech on the phone today at my call centre job, she said she was going to post me some info here tonight. Are you out there? :)

  • Just butting it to say that I wholeheartedly agree with Duchy. No job is perfect and it's down to the individual as to what benefits they get from it. Me, I find it so bum numbingly tedious at times but after 3.5 years, it's hardly a surprise. However, I'm still there.

This thread has been very helpful to me the past couple of days and I've learned a lot!

Applied two nights ago and had my group interview earlier today which I think went quite well! Fingers crossed!

One thing I'm not very clear on though is the actually shifts I would be working if I got the job. I know I must be available 4-11 weekdays and 3-11 weekends but are these the actual full shifts? As in I'd work 3 days a week PT? Or are the shifts usually shorter and spread over more days?

As far as I know they now like you to be available at said times so they can move your shifts around according to client needs. If you have specified 3 days a week then they would most likely be full days. But depends on your weekly hours really. I think it will change every week.
  • OK thanks. Before I did the interview I was a bit indifferent about this job, I wasn't even sure I wanted a job (I'm a full time student) but now I'm really excited about it! Really want to get it!
  • Hi, I just finished an offer call from TT, and i'm a little worried about the credit clearance bit. I have no ccjs but a couple outstanding debts with debt collectors. Just wondering if anybody else had the same problem? I start training shortly and I have to have the clearance completed before I start also I have to return the clearance within 2 days which doesn't give me much time to correct any probs outstanding. Do I get to see the credit check before they do so I can correct it.
