I had the same experience as SimIsOnTheUp, applied for TeleTech@Home Customer Service Agent UK, received an email 2 days later to say I did not meet the requirements for the assessment but I could apply again in 60 days.
When they say the requirements for the assessment, do they mean the 'questionnaire' with the hypothetical situations i.e. what would you do in such and such an office situation (US-oriented situations)?
The email advised to go on the website and look up "Skill Builders" which I did do.. but this is about improving your English and pronunciation, neither of which I feel apply to me..0 -
I've worked for teletech @home since September now and am really enjoying it. As for the having to work on weekends, yes you generally will have to, although they can accommodate specific scheduling needs - I have a lecture every Monday night from 6-9 so working on Monday evening would be impossible. I let the scheduling team know and am off every Monday. I get another day off a week as well which varies. This week I'm working 7-11 every night and am off on Monday and Tuesday.
They also give good holidays, even as soon as you're out of training you have 30 hours to take. Also good opportunities to increase your hours right up to 40 per week if you'd like full time.0 -

Apparently I failed the 'Questionnaire' in the assessment (the one with the hypothetical US-office based scenarios). The link to 'Skill Builders' is an error and meant to relate to other TeleTech positions. I was wondering if anyone has any advice as to how to pass the Questionnaire should I wish to retake the assessment in just under 60 days time? Thank you in advance..0

They should really change those question for us in the UK, I did pass (dont ask me how) I suppose youve got to think american the old 'HAVE A GREAT DAY' cliche. Call recruitment and ask for feedback and also give feedback, as those questions are dire! Good luck.0 -

I failed it too last month, even though I've worked for them before!
Gutted.
Will try again in January.
Good Luck all0 -

Yeah I thought the same.. I did think along the lines of the cliche a little but for some of the questions I wouldn't personally have chosen any of the options available!
I did actually contact TeleTech on the Live Help which is how I found out specifically the questionnaire was what I was let down by however they said that they couldn't tell me my actual score or what the pass score was.
Just that each question has a points value assigned to it, there are no right or wrong answers and you have to meet the minimum total score to pass the questionnare assessment.
I provided feedback as to what I thought of the questionnaire on the Live Help feedback jobby..
Wondering if the position will still be available come January.. looking elsewhere of course..0
