Hi, I just finished an offer call from TT, and i'm a little worried about the credit clearance bit. I have no ccjs but a couple outstanding debts with debt collectors. Just wondering if anybody else had the same problem? I start training shortly and I have to have the clearance completed before I start also I have to return the clearance within 2 days which doesn't give me much time to correct any probs outstanding. Do I get to see the credit check before they do so I can correct it.

You can get a free 30 day trial with Experian to check your own credit rating and that will be what TT see.

I wouldn't worry too much about the credit check, most people have outstanding debts these days, if they refused everyone because of that, nobody would be in work ;)
  • Thanks for the reply m8, one last little worry. I've been asked do I have any business interests which would conflict with my employment and do I hold any directorships. I'm a director of my own company but it in no ways conflicts with TT. What do I do here, I know experian will have that info also? Gonna have to be honest and say yes but will this mess up my chances of employment? btw the company has no debt whatsoever.

No, it shouldn't. A lot of TT employees have second jobs, and I also know someone who ran their own company. Its of no concern to TT, unless it happened to be an outsourcing virtual call centre company. :D

You will be offered the job in the offer call so basically yes, unless something drastic happens

    Hi guys,

    I worked for TT in 2009 and Dec '10 - Jan '11.

Needs, must, so I've just applied to go back online.

Had the invitation email on 23rd September, to start on 17th October, so I'm probably cutting it a bit fine for next week's training!

Any updates as to when they're next training?

    Many Thanks.

Guys - Those of you currently applying ... Are they asking for a copy of your passport and 2 copies of your current address signed by a solicitor?

    Great.

After applying yesterday (and after two successful prior applications since '08), I had an email this afternoon, telling me that they were to check my past employment records.

Two minutes after this email, I receive another email, telling me that I'd failed the assessment, and that I can't re - apply for another 60 days!

    Gutted.

Is earning extra income from them really good? Do they pay better than any other? I bet on joining or trying to apply for it but I am not that sure If I am that qualified.

    Hi Dave,

They pay just over £6.00 per hour.

It's pretty much a call - centre job, but from home.

Go for it. Even if you don't have call - centre experience, but have some customer service experience, and if you're good with computers and problem solving, it's well worth going for.

    Good Luck!
