Oh the whole absolutely so. As with all jobs again there are some little groups but not as much as in a real life f2f job. You get your moaners who never stop and always say they will leave but never do lol. When you get on drop me a pm message! Oh scrap that i'm on leave til the end of the month LOL. But yes if you ask a question or for help then lots of voices will speak up to try and help you so you are never alone. If anything you get harrassed to much for if you need help LOL esp if you been there for ages.
The main keys for me are pay - reliable on time and correct amount. Holidays. (The only reconised bank holidays are christmas day, boxing, new years day and easter monday fyi) And the biggest benefit to me is being able to work from home. As we are trying for baby this is crucial for me. I work part time so it gives me more family time. Just perfect over all the other jobs i've had before.

If you don't care about red tape, don't wanna promotion, and just wanna go in - do the job - go home - and get paid then you can't go far wrong.
  • I think I lasted about 9 mins into the call, one person already hung up. They expect you to be openly available 7 days a week for them to slot you in where suits them. I am going back to college 2 nights a week so bye bye teletech.

Its odd as most people who want part time hours, want them to slot in with study, or something similar.

Best of luck to those who stick it to the end :)

Good news though - 2 mins later, sensee came back to me. I'm through the first stage for them. Yay! :)

I had the first interview for Sensee but have decided to give it a miss. To be honest, the people there have told me its as disorganised as TT in many ways. I'll just bide my time where I am, not worth the upheaval tbh.

I won't know for sure until I start work there next week - but one thing I can be absolutely sure about - when I googled both Teletech and Sensee, to read opinions, I found very little negative said about Sensee and a whole skip-full of manure about Teletech. If "the people they have" are all so disappointed with their employer, they're flipping quiet about it.

Well, six years. But that aside, SEO experts get paid a lot of money to make "five minutes" look like thirty five years on Google.

Six years as a virtual call centre? Really? Cos I can only trace that part back to last September. But like I said, might be a lot better but only time will tell. Everyone posted how great TT was at first, its only when you have been there a while in any company that you start to see any flaws to be honest. As far as I'm concerned, I'm happy in this financial climate to have a job, despite the fact I don't work for a perfect company. Lets face it, who does?

"Sens!e is the UK leader of home working, providing home workers to contact centres since 2005" a quote backed up by records at Companies House. Dunno what "part" you were looking for though.

This thread is sort of testament to the fact that lots of people saw lots of flaws in TT long before the job even began.

I don't think any of us is unrealistic enough to imagine we're about to start work with the perfect company. Some of us are just fortunate enough to be able to invoke damage limitation.
