You need to be available Sat and Sun, but occasionally your days and shifts may change depending on business needs. If you have a good reason why you can't do Sat or Sun, they are ok with it as long as you tell them before hand. Just saying "I don't want to work weekends" won't go down too well....;)

    Hi Sanity

Thanks for the response. I'm happy to work weekends, I was just hoping that it's possible that you don't have to work every weekend both days.
When you say have a good reason, do you mean that it would have to be because of child care or something? (not an issue for me as I don't have kids)
To be honest, it is just a simple case of I wouldn't want to work every Saturday and Sunday night! lol as I am sure most people wouldn't want to either. Have no issue working every Sunday or every other Saturday or something like that, but is there room for flexibilty?

    Many Thanks
  • On the second day of training too, have to say Andy and Tomas (Neo for anyone in my group :P) Are really sound chaps, very helpful and friendly and able to have a laugh, couldn't really ask for more!

The "Andy" breaks are also a nice touch lol!

If you have a commitment, say every other Saturday, they might fit your hours/shifts round it ;). Just depends how you approach it tbh.

Known Andy a while, even before he was at TT, he is a good guy. If you are struggling at any time with the training, make sure to let him know. They will always get one of us to have a chat and help you out with anything you don't understand if they are busy, so don't worry.

Sanity - I've not got many holiday hours left tbh - just 15 left to take, trying to book them for next week but OSC seem to think I'm already off which is a bit odd, tried to sort it last night but only one tl in so couldn't spk to her :/

I work both saturday and sunday every single week and whilst its a bit of a pain sometimes it still fits in well with family commitments
  • Hi,

I use to work for Teletech two years ago was great working with them had so much fun from my bedroom, I am currently unemployed again and would love to work again for them, would I need to take the training again and also provide the identification form signed form the solicitor? or do you think they could re use the one i sent last two years ago?

Has the training changed much for the broadband occupation?

    Kind regards :)

Lots of changes, you would need to reapply and resubmit all the forms again. You would also need to do the training again because there is so much more involved now. They are still hiring as far as I know however, so give it a go.:D

Cool, well done. And you will still need to retrain ;-)

Hi, I promise you all I've read most of this thread (bar a page or two) over the past few weeks and am still confused...maybe I'm just a bit thick, I don't know!:rotfl:

Can someone please spell out to me in simple terms:

What I need to have in order to apply/work for teletech (extra monitors, pcs, phones, things like that)

If there is definitely a guaranteed, regular wage after training.

What all this business is with setting up limited companies...however much I read through the first few pages of this thread, I still don't understand.

I can commit to hours no problem, just want to know if it's worth my while applying, basically! :)
