    I'm in the process of trying to buy a PC from a guy on Ebay, who isn't getting back to me.. Very infuriating, and it looks like I might have had a lucky escape! (Haven't paid yet..)

    I'm sure I remember TeleTech asking for an IDE drive on their spec page a couple of years back, but I could be mistaken.

    If you've got it working on an eSATA drive, that's great to know.

    The PC I'm looking at buying is a Dell Optiplex 2.8Ghz.

    I just ran my Workbooth CD in my PC.

    After entering 'test' and my ID, the disc just ejects and Workbooth shuts down!

    Do I call Tech Support?

    Thats exactly what mine did too!

    I spent forty minutes on the phone to them and they couldn't figure out why but said it was showing succesful at their end so not to worry and sending me another copy out.

    You had no confirmation on your PC then after running the disc, but Tech could see your info at their end?

    That is a bit crackers, them sending the older version of the software, when there has been an update! :-/

    Yeah no on screen confirmation or anything, just clicked ok and within ten seconds shut down to the black boot up screen, ejected the disk and shut down. But she said it was showing as complete at their end.

    I thought that about them sending out the 2.1 version but the Tech I spoke to said she was requesting a 3.0 to be sent.

    This is maddening.

    Was on the phone to Tech for 2 hours..

    The Workbooth CD will not run on either an 8 1/2 year old Celeron 1Ghz PC or a 4 year old Dell Optiplex 2.8Ghz Pentium D based PC either.

    I've tried two different Workbooth discs (had a spare from last year) and neither will run the hardware assessment.

    Each time, the CD is ejected and no results are displayed.

    Tech have received nothing at their end either.

    The guy at tech reckoned I had an incompatible graphics card (as I keep getting an "unloading AGP updates" message I think it said) or an incompatible network card..

    Can't now be the network card, as I'm using a Startech USB / Ethernet adaptor (supplied by TeleTech last year).

    Tech have now emailed me a list of about 10 'cheat codes' to try via the Linux 'set up' page within Workbooth..

    I am so stressed!
