Hello,
I have been waiting 2 years to get this far.
I have to call a today for a interview, left a message and hopefully they would call back. Please can you advise what this interview consists of, and what sort of questions they would ask, i'm getting myself prepared for any questions they may ask.
Also could you tell me, how the process works?
I have done similar work with various companies and freelance also.
Thanks0 -
Hi everyone, I was just wondering if anyone is going through the application process at the minute. I have my '2hour' interview on thursday, I am really nervous as I have done an interview in a long time lol0

Hi, I did my interview a couple of weeks ago and I found it was not as bad as I thought it was going to be. It's actually a conference call with other people in the same boat as you, judging by previous posts here, I was quite lucky to only have 4 or 5 other people on the call with me, apparently it can be upto 30 I think I read somewhere.
Anyway, they basically just ask you about previous examples of customer service type work you have done and to give examples of things like how you dealt with a difficult customer, stuff like that. Towards the end of the call, you get a 1 to 1 with the "presenter" for about 5 minutes where she just asks you some basic questions about whether you would be happy to do the hours, that you understand that you will most likely have to work weekends etc. None of it was rocket science!
I got an email telling me I had passed the interview and that I would be contacted in 2 working days with a link for an official offer or something like that. That was last week and more than 2 business days ago so I will chase that up in the next couple of days to see what happens0 -
Thats great Seventies Child, I have googled the @home stuff for teletech (think I am getting obsessed) and have read a lot of stories were people who have had a job offer have waited over a year for a start date, though most of those were american, so hopefully there will be an actual start date soon.0

Hi everyone, I just wanted to know SeventiesChild what time will the shifts be for the customer service agent work. As there's no detail of these written anywhere on the job profile and I think it would be good to know before wasting two hours and a phone bill on something which may not be suited for me. I got my '2 hour' interview on thursday also at 4 pm. Hope we can choose what times we can work.0

Hi, I can't remember exact times now, but I think there are basically a couple of shifts between 4pm and 11pm during the week and slightly different hours at the weekend, though still late afternoon\evening.
Also, just so you know, if there aren't that many people being interviewed at the same time as you, it could all last less than 90 mins (I think I was done by about 5.30), some of which is spent waiting around for other people to have their 1 to 1's (approx 5 mins each, so in my group this added up to almost 30 mins I think).
Also, with regards to cost of the phone call, don't worry, it is an 0800 number so it's free, all you stand to lose is time!
Good Luck0 -
Hi guys,
I did work for TeleTech before, last year, in both Broadband Sales, and Tech Support.
However, I had to leave in November '09 due to ill health.
Am considering applying again now.
Do you guys know, if they're still recruiting?
Thanks,
Sim.0 -
I have applied for this and have my interview on monday, i have worked for another customer service set up before from home, i'm a bit undecided about it just with the hours thats all, young family and noise is my main hurdle, how does everyone else cope please?
Is it do-able with kids and family commitments?0 -
