seventies child got no idea what it could involve, can only assume they will tell us about the position and maybe ask competency based questions...
They first read out your names to see if your present or press * on your keyboard. Mute your phone there is so much backround noise at times and your call could be terminated if there are kids, dogs, TV in the backround.
The interview is quite relaxed. It's not the typical 1-2-1 but there are competancy based questions. What happens is that they split you into 8 or 9 groups of 5 - 8 people and give them a situation like tell me about a time when you fixed a problem on your computer, but you don't have to answer tell your team and then agree who has the best answer and he/she will put that to the interviewer. I think there is about 3 competancy question emmm teamwork, problem solving and customer service I think also adapt to change as well if I can remember right. At the end the interviewer asks you individually why you would like to work from home give as much info as possible this is your speel to get the job.SeventiesChild wrote: »Hi Shan,
I got the same email and tomorrow was the only date for me as well, luckily I have juggled a couple of things and am going to do it. I was jus a bit concerned that it was going to be 2 hours without any indication of what the questions will be like.
I'm sure there will be other interview dates, though I did initially try to get onto the live help to ask the question but it just says it is under construction, though I have used it before and it was working fine!
See my above post. Mine was over 2 hours about 2 hrs 30 mins give it 3 hours.
Good luck to everyone.0 -

2 hours?! I don't see that beign the case! Mine was only 20 minutes LOL. Although this was 2 years ago. My hardest question was how you would deal with a customer that is very angry. Otherwise was basic stuff - talking about hours, what you would do, etc etc.
2 hours ... LOL ... tutt tutt!!0 -
How times have changed!!!!!! I had it as a 1to1. Blimy that's a doddle! You will all get in no problems ...They first read out your names to see if your present or press * on your keyboard. Same! I've used it before too but it didnt work tonite for me! Hmmm hope theres other interview dates tho. Let me know how you get on tomoro
Well I had my interview today and I think I did ok, though it wasn't really obvious exactly what they were looking for because the questions were pretty basic.
There were actually only 5 interviewees so it only took about 90 mins, 5mins of which was a 1 to 1 with the presenter, along with another 20 mins of waiting around for the others to have their own 1 to 1's.
Apparently we will be contacted within 3 business days to let us know whether or not they will be taking us on.
With regards to start dates, this could happen pretty quick because the presenter said she had some training starting in a couple of weeks and if we were offered the job, we might well be asked to take part in that one......sounds like they really need people pretty quick!0 -

Sounds like it was pretty easy! Hope you get it, im sure you will tho! With regards to one to ones, how did that happen, were other people able to hear and what sorta questions did they ask? I hope I get another interview date cudnt make that one. So what kind of work is it you will be doing? Customer service for who?0 -

Can't answer the question about who, I guess you don't find that out unless you are offered the job.
The 1to1 was basically a breakout session on the conference call, where it's only you and the presenter in the room and she just asks you to basically summarize your last couple of roles. No-one else could listen in, hence the 1to1 label. It lasted about 5 mins each, the people not in the 1to1 were just asked to keep themselves amused basically by going through so stuff on the website

Gosh Rebekah I feel for you going through it hard for me it was the easiest interview I have had and can't believe how much I enjoyed it coming from a person who dispises interviews.HI, can anyone tell me the shift patterns for the current recruitment posts? The shifts for the training are between 4-11pm so you can start at 4pm to 8pm or 6pm to 10pm or 7pm to 11pm I believe. I am unsure about when going live you can book your hours in advance.0 -
is anyone else waiting on interview times to be released? What would the part time hours be?0
