Just got in from work. I think the Carol Concert was a resounding success, even if I say so myself. Just a shame that so many parents CBA to show up to see their kids perform - it's not as if it started too early or finished too late, I've only been there so late because I was cleaning up after the ones who did show up and abandoned sweet wrappers, plastic cups and programmes in the pews.
Last day of work for nearly 3 weeks tomorrow
:j I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll

I'm back.
Adopted grandson is now a teenager! where have the years gone, I now get one word answers, even to an open question that requires now, I suppose in time he will grow out of it, but he is going well in school, and is happy so that is the main thing.
I am suffering from jet lag been up since 2.30am, so have:-
Opened post, got rid of the rubbish mail into a heap, another heap for the shredder, but OH is sleeping.
Done all emails
Loged in to works' system and checked my rota, just as well as todays shift has changed slightly.
Have tons of work emails to look at but they can wait
Hung up the Christmas cards, read any letters etc
Checked my bank balance.
Money shuttle half done
Put shift for rest of Dec and Jan on to calendar
Cuddled the cat who seems to think 3am is a suitable time to feed him, so far I have not given in
Want to unpack and get WM on but case is upstairs and OH is asleep
Making shopping list
Get tree up and decorate it.
I have looked in from time to time, hugs all round, and you have all been very busy.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

My number 1 task today is to get the washing machine working again before I run out of clean clothes. I eventually got it to start last night but now it's not draining. I've cleaned out the filter and it's still not draining. Fingers crossed I can get someone out to look at it today.0

Well that’s it...
But LOTS to do in the hovel and today I am going to help my friend once the plumbers has been to check the boiler. I have very slow very minor leak... only discovered because it dripped onto my wooden bread bin.
Panic after work when a child went ‘missing’ she was picked up by the person who was meant to collect her but dad also turned up and he ‘missed’ them. Awful stress for my colleague and me it’s my class but not my day. Also other issues going on where someone is claiming information hasn’t been passed on (by me) which could lead to a bullying claim, but I did and there’s proof, but a bit worrying when someone’s attempting to claim that they are being deliberately ostracised.
Thinking of Froddy. Change always upsets me.
Hope rountuits people are all as ok as possible.

Morning all
I have now finished work for the holidays so I am here!
Going to pop out to do a bit of shopping shortly, then I need to finish putting together the shoe boxes for the homeless, drop them off and then think about doing some jobs around the house.
Have a good day all

Morning :hello:
An evening off must have been exactly what I needed
Switched off tv at 8 and read my book. Went to bed at 10 and woke up at 10 to 6 woop woop :T (and not even one bad dream double woop woop :T) Didn't get up til nearly half seven though as I was quite relaxed laid praying and pondering - shhh busy buzzy mosquito is asleep!!
So, up and on and at 'em again today
. I've made the bed and had a brew. Visiting a friend at 10 to drop off her present and card and have a cuppa & catch up. Looking forward to lots of Jay cuddles. (Jay is a springer spaniel
) Present is already wrapped and ready to go :A
Before then I'm going to:
get washed and dressed
feed the birds
put rubbish/ recycling out
WM x 1
WUDUPA x 1
wrap presents x 5 ( that'll be DB, DSiL, & DN sorted
)
Better crack on then. Hope you get your washer sorted LoL . Hugs, posivibes, sticks, available by the door.
Just had a thought ionafan - inhaling your spoons from the pot by the hob worked wonders. Thank you very much xx
