Clif, you have 174 comments since joining. 173 are promoting/defending not only Outfoxthemarket but also Fischer Future Heat, so why not admit you're an employee and move on with life, it's embarrassing.
And Fact_check there's no need to even mention this account. Read the comments and it's self explanatory that he/she is an employee of Outfox.

So then Clif, if you're such a huge fan then why aren't you in the customer discussion group on Facebook (the one run by outfox, not the one supporting the unhappy customers)?

ive sat there many times watching the Ombudsman rule against your company over n over
sadly im still spouting the same old crap, but that says more about your company than me.
lets for a second stop though mate, each case that goes through Resolver and OFGEM has a real life human struggling and in turmoil.
Im not for a second going to be humorous as these people are impacted terribly and seriously shame on you and OTM for belittling these people.
lets respect them.
there have been numerous rulings from ombudsman and countless Resolver assisted people, each and every one disgraceful.
it says it all you retain your employment and speak on behalf of Bastian (even though you hide your real name)
im happy for a banter, happy to be ridiculed and to ridicule back.
But please have a heart, these cases have real people, struggling and at there wits end so don’t publicly demean them
as for Bastian PLC
or is it Bastian Malta PLC, stop ripping people off,supplying terrible products and punishing customers when they need help and the Discussion group will leave you alone
much cheaper to treat customers fairly than fake a solicitors letter to start legal proceedings lol0 -
Looking at the comments on this forum is literally the cringiest thing I’ve read!!I joined the group on Facebook when the whole Direct Debit fiasco kicked off & have to say that I now find it so embarrassing that older looking men have a group claiming to ‘help’ people when all they did was tell people to go on resolver and make a complaint with the Ombudsman... I go back on it now and read awful comments that come from desperation. Think some growing up is in order & time to move on? Seriously, WHO has time for hate for so long?! if you hate them that much, leave!
And for fact_checker and Clif... you guys obviously work for OTM. Grow up & put your focus on making your company better rather than putting your focus on a PUBLIC forum. That as well is embarrassing & does not look good for your company.4 -

I agree. Accounts that appear to exist simply to post pro-company propaganda stick out like a sore thumb. A troll is someone who deliberately joins the forum to cause disputes. It may be a long-standing user, or someone completely new.
An alter ego is generally someone who's previously been PPR'd (see What's "PPR" under some people's usernames?) and has joined under a new username to cause trouble.
If you feel someone is trolling or is an alter-ego, please report them to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com. Do not respond to them on the forum - that makes things worse.
A guide to dealing with troublemakers
Sadly in a forum of this size, and many much smaller, there will always be people who enjoy disrupting or being unpleasant. It's human nature. When arguments or spats happen people tend to get involved, and even those who normally behave well can do things they wouldn’t normally think acceptable.
On MSE we hope our users can and will behave as adults. If someone is rude or offensive we ask that you report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com so it can be dealt with and looked at soon.
Don’t respond or engage with trolls
More importantly, we ask that you don’t respond, get involved or start name-calling.That simply isn’t helpful, and in the long run, you risk your own privilege to post on this forum being removed just as much as the original trouble-maker.
If there's a problem, please "don’t feed the troll" – don’t engage or let it escalate. Report it to us instead.
We don’t have moderators on the site, the forum is too big and it's not legally advisable. Yet even if we did, it is very difficult to judge who is right and who is wrong in a fight.
We will look at what you’ve done, not at what caused it
Without the wisdom of Solomon, the only way we can do this is to take a step back and look at the way an individual has conducted themselves.
So while you may feel someone deserved nasty treatment, we will simply judge on how you’ve behaved, not why – because we ask that if you’ve reported an issue to the Forum Team, you then leave it and let us deal with it.
No solution is perfect. A balance must be drawn between trying to keep everything nice and allowing discussion and exchanges of opinion to take place. We do not want to act like a police force, yet if we are called to protect users and the forum we will do so.
One forum user who summed it up better than we can:
“Use the report function, use the ignore list, don’t go into forums that annoy you, don’t get angry with cyber people. It shouldn’t be rocket science.”

there isn’t much more we can do realistically other than help customers go through Resolver and the Ombudsman
getting a team armed with baseball bats seems frowned on nowadays.
we have invited debate, we have actively leased with OTM still do.
that resulted with a meme BER of the Admin,(a respected serving police officer at the time) going for lunch with Bastian and 2am deleting the forum and putting a cash deposit on a house...
trust me Admin are sick of trying to help deal with this company, they sp3nd thousands manipulating social media and “sponsoring” sites that are negative.
the right and effective way to help customers are via Resolver, they a great team with tremendous success
We apologize were just old and possibly smelly men, but were not there to date vulnerable women, were there to listen and support.
we been part of hundreds if not thousands now and go the toute that the authorities reccomend
we only publish or speak of facts that are published in the public arena.
we strictly ban any remark not physicly proven
we don’t allow rascist or anyone referring to make personal gain.
we would love young energetic model like people on the Admin team but I guess constantly fighting personal remarks or fending off personal legal actions does not apeal.
if you any suggestions of how we can help more we are all ears.
there has been personal help given to more than one person to help them out of the poverty situation but we cannot fund raise or support as we’re normal people, we don’t have the experience to fund cases.
we cannot change our ages, sort of irritated at the innuendo
so Olive what more would you like us to do? Other than shut up say nothing?

Take it how you wish but it was aimed more towards ‘older men’ being mature not actual age but perhaps I should’ve clarified that. So I apologise that you were offended.
I would suggest that you eliminate the hate on your group and put your focus on something more positive than hating on a company that owned up to its mistakes nearly 2 years or so ago! You could make something out of yourself if you take the hate away. Hate never wins.2 -

i was one of those victims
i had a brand new built 1 bed bungalow with gas heating
one xmas I had my DD wackrd up to over £450 a month
a further £700 removed from my account.
i had never been in arrears in my life.
it was December I was skint, having that much removed meant all my bills bounced.
i had no one. And the founder Steven Bennet helped me, gave a kind word but most important believed me when the world said they can’t do that.
i won my release.
i fought and won my refund
took until March but I won.
didnt help me though that Xmas.
so I started to help where I could
if you see someone getting bullied you do that
Bastian himself issues libel legal action against me
quickly dropped as advance information would of held him liable and given me the evidence I needed to prove I gave no authority to remove funds
see I went bank complained
they contacted OTM who served a statement saying I had given prrmission
i had to prove I didn’t give permission
not easy other than a SAR to gain telephone records
SAR refused on grounds could be used to convict
but people read this
people will realise it clearly company policy to bully and not a single OTM employee disciplined for abusing customers, even laughing at them
you attack the helplines/ resolver and OFGEM
your too dumb to realise every flippant remark is on a Google search
what an ethical bunch you lot are
