I had a quick look to see what all the excitement was about and no, switching to any of their tariffs would cost me money, certainly not the cheapest options available. Also it will be a cold day in hell before I'd ever consider using anything with 'Fischer' in the name.1

fact_check said:As always, the details show the limitations of the results...'Prices are from Energylinx, based on a dual-fuel tariff available in all regions in England, Scotland and Wales for a medium user'That is not going to give the cheapest possible tariffs...

Wouldn't it be nice for Which to wake up and actually advise people how to find the cheapest deals.1

Which? are always out of date because their article is dated 4 June 2020, however, Outfox The Market withdrew Fix'd 20 11.0 and introduced Fix'd 20 12.0 on 2 June 2020. At least Outfox The Market customers on One Green Flex 2.0 (cheapest standard variable rate tariff in the UK) enjoy no frills, just low bills, without the need to switch energy provider every year!
N.B. One Green Flex 2.0 is always cheaper than Look After My Bills etc. because Look After My Bills etc. are in business to earn commission from a narrow panel of more expensive commission paying energy providers (excluding Outfox The Market)!0 -
I had been with separate Gas and Electricity suppliers for over 4 years, as this had always worked out cheaper than going with a Dual Fuel contract. However, 2 months ago I switched to OFTM who were offering a really low gas rate with a very reasonably (but not the cheapest at the time) electricity rate. We would be considered high users of both Gas and Electricity.
So far everything with OFTM has been perfect. They did try to raise my monthly payment by £10, a quick chat got them to reduce my payment by £10 instead. All confirmed by email the following day. Both bills I have received have my meter readings as submitted (none of the funny business ala Symbio) and billed for exactly what I have used.
Timing for my switch was excellent - as seems I may have caught a bottom in the market - prices up around £70/ year annually now as compared to March.

I'm on the same tariff as merchcon55 because Fix'd 20 9.0 is not only the cheapest dual fuel in the UK, it's also cheaper than separate supplies, but my point about One Green Flex 2.0 is that customers of Look After My Bills etc. will always be better off with the cheapest standard variable rate tariff in the UK, without having to switch energy provider every year!0

Savvy customers like you and I know that separate supplies are sometimes cheaper than dual fuel, however, customers of Look After My Bills etc. don't want the hassle of having to switch energy providers every year!0
