The customer stated that her first anniversary is July 2020, therefore, Outfox The Market still have time to rectify their oversight!0

Well, for me at least I was with them for two years on a rolling tariff and at no point did they tell me of a cheaper one. In fact, they kept me on the same tariff whilst increasing the bill due to usage - and that's fine, I'm using more so I get billed more. However, when paired with the tariff issue, I can't say I'm exactly pleased.More than anything though, it's just bad business practice. They gouged me whilst they could but have ended up with an ex-customer who's telling friends not to go to them / writing on review websites. They were in it for the short-term gain, whereas if they'd pointed me in the direction of a tariff that was even 20% cheaper I'd be singing their praises, or something to that effect.0

In any case their suggestion would be of no value as it would not show me if I should switch to another supplier. I see it as my responsibility to regularly check the whole of the market for a better deal. It literally takes a few seconds. You should at least know when your fix is ending and be actively looking for a cheaper deal once per year.I'm struggling to imagine what tariff you were on that could have been so much more expensive than their cheapest option but I would suggest that it was an oversight on your part rather than anything misleading from OTM.As to my experience with OTM... I've just had my first bill. My usage is well within the expected range and I was £15 in credit. However, they have decided to increase my direct debit by 25%. That's pretty annoying as I have no need to build up credit at this time. They already take the DD in advance so that you don't dip into debit during the month. I'm not going to get my knickers in a twist about £10 per month as my usage is generally so low that it confuses most energy suppliers' algorithms (or they're deliberately set to overestimate usage) but it seems unnecessary to increase it at this stage.

Perhaps OFTM have caught on to Symbio's trick of getting an interest free loan from customers simply by creating fictional over-estimates?!0

Outfox The Market are always first on Cheap Energy Club, most comparison websites don't even list them because they don't pay commission, so credit to Cheap Energy Club!0

At the time of writing (and with my desired settings - dual fuel, renewable) they're 1. 5th in terms of price, and 2. have a customer rating of 2.3 out of 5, which chimes exactly with my experience of them.

Two is not 'most'.0
