Who mentioned NN7? I used my own postcode for which the results were as I posted. About £66 a year for 1kWh gas & 1kWh electricity (comparison sites don't like 0kWh consumption).Clif said:Talldave, you're incorrect because Outfox The Market have lower standing charges for duel-fuel in NN7 (lower for electricity only), but Utilita are cheapest for zero usage with no standing charges, since Ebico Zero now have a minimum bill value of £52 a year for electricity and £104 a year for gas!0 -
Obviously where Clif lives, just an hour south of the office.... yeah it’s a long commute but Northampton nicer than Leicester.Talldave said:

Talldave, you make a sweeping statement, which was incorrect! I have also corrected my error because Ebico Zero Green Fixed v5 now has a minimum bill value of £52 a year for electricity and £52 a year for gas (v4 had a minimum bill value of £52 a year for electricity and £104 a year for gas)!0

I made a statement about my research for another thread about low/zero use and the results got - that's pretty specific, not sweeping. Why not give us the lowdown for 1kWh per fuel for NN7? Is OFTM dual fuel beaten by OFTM separate supplies?Clif said:Talldave, you make a sweeping statement, which was incorrect! Gas only £57.60
Electricity only £32.40
Gas & electricity £82.320 -
Talldave, OFTM dual fuel should always be cheaper than OFTM sparate supplies, therefore, why not give us the lowdown on an anomaly?0

SE London, 1kWh each fuelClif said:Talldave, OFTM dual fuel should always be cheaper than OFTM sparate supplies, therefore, why not give us the lowdown on an anomaly?
Gas only £36.52
Electricity only £28.30
Gas and electricity £67.89 (also beaten by Eon)The dual fuel figure on OFTM's website is actually £82.80 (Fix'd 20 11.0), but I used the figure from Energylinx (FIX'D 19 5.0).OFTM's (London) pricing of Clean VE 3.0 and Pure Gas 2.0 means that Fix'd 20 11.0 is more expensive than the sum total of the two separate supplies until you get up into the region of 10,000kWh Electricity / 50,000kWh Gas and Fix'd 20 5.0 is more expensive than the sum total of the two separate supplies until you get up into the region of 5,000kWh Electricity / 20,000kWh Gas.So a question for the OFTM experts/employees/evangelists - can customers sign up for both Clean VE 3.0 and Pure Gas 2.0 instead of a dual fuel deal and thus save themselves money? This is, after all, a money saving website, so getting the best deal is top priority.
