Nick_C, medium usage is electricity 2900 and gas 12000, therefore, don't you think typical users would benefit from a medium usage table by a respected poster for Liverpool 17?

    This is not correct.
Symbio & Bristol Energy, single fuels are the cheapest.
Fixed tariff prices for NN7 are as follows :

    Outfox Fix’d 20 11.0 - gas unit 2.363 DSC 11.193 - elec unit 12.6 DSC 11.315

    Symbio Low,Fair,Green 2020 - elec unit 10.65 DSC 24.5

Bristol Energy Simply Green Paperless - Gas Unit 2.415 DSC 18.312

If you do some basic sums - you will calculate that you only need to use approx 9 electric units per day to cancel out the higher combined daily standing charges.
Which even a low user would do.

therefore medium & high users will save even more compared to Outfox The Market.

I am an ultra low user 2/3 units of Electricity per day, no Gas during summer months, very little during winter months,  tested NN7  Uswitch

    Fix'D 20 11.0 Outfox

One Green Flex 2.0 Variable Outfox

Tonik Super Power (1 Year) v4 + Free Boiler Service Tonik Fixed

    Avro - Fixed 12 month

Green Flamborough - Fixed until 31st July 2021 Yorkshire

Asking what the costs are is irrelevant, as saying goes there is lies damn lies and there is statistics
Only filter I applied Include plans that require switching directly through the supplier

As I stated... 9 units would need to be used to start saving. So indeed; splitting the fuels like this in the NN7 supply region would not help ultra low users.
However the majority of customers do not fall into the ultra low category.
i would also note that doing simple searches on uswitch etc, can be very misleading because the tariffs/units/daily charges, are often inaccurate.
You need to go onto the respective company websites to interrogate their national tariff table. Then do the compare.

Have you actually done the "basic sums" for the consumption of 2900/12000 quoted by @Clif with the tariffs you've provided? The gas alone is £32 more from Bristol Energy which swamps the Symbio electricity saving, making the dual fuel option cheaper.
It's not fair to forum readers to make incorrect sweeping statements about savings without actually doing the sums. And just to re-iterate my impartiality, I've previously criticised @Clif for doing the same thing on this very thread.

I don’t know where you got £32 from.
I specified the tariff prices exactly how they are published by the companies.
Anyone can add up the daily totals and come to the conclusion that if they use 9 or more electric units per day, they will start to save compared to the Fix’d 20 11.0 tariff.
The gas units are basically the same with both companies.
The combined DSC’s for Outfox are 22.5 pence per day.
The combined DSC’s for the Symbio + Bristol Energy are 42.8 pence.
    Which is roughly 20pence more.
The equivalent to 10 electricity units with Symbio at 2pence less.
( you are just searching on price comparison websites. I am actually looking at the published tariff tables )

I am not searching on comparison sites, I am using a calculator, with the rates YOU provided at the consumption levels of 2900 electricity & 12000 gas quoted by @Clif.

I got it by working out the costs on a calculator.

Basically the same, but actually £6.24 per annum different!

So, using proper maths, rather than your casual "roughly" assertions, gives:
    OFTM: Gas £324.41, Electric £406.70, Total £731.11
Bristol Gas £356.64, Symbio Electricity £398.28, Total £754.92  [£23.81 MORE than OFTM dual fuel]
Do you still claim that single suppliers are cheaper for the tariffs you provided?

I did - and went one step further and multiplied them by 365, to give annual totals - a bit like the comparison sites do!

However the majority of customers do not fall into the ultra low category.
You have attempted to provide an example merely to counter what someone has said about OFTM and in doing so contradicted what you referred to firstly as "which even a low user would do" ( most low users with both fuels would prefer to have both fuels supplied by same company) secondly  "majority of customers"   (majority of customers who have both fuels prefer ( even when splitting fuels is mentioned) to have both fuels with same supplier.) , hence me using the phrase " There is lies, damn lies and there is statistics"
