#11 declaring £5,270.66 for September, total £35,129.12 for the year so far. It has been a good few months, but i'm not going to be able to save quite this much over the next few months - hope to hit £45k before the year is out though
Thanks SF, and well done to all0 -

We have had a good month (for us), but I pinched a lump of the cash savings to chip a bit more away from the mortgage. It saves another couple of pounds a month in interest too (but I don't count this, as it is a reduction in outgoings rather than a saving as such). Just over £2000 in total. I might need to increase our target a bitSave £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)
OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I am at £1286.68/£3000 or 42.89% of my annual spend so far

£2000 for September, a good element of which was my S&S ISA doing well so I can't take all the credit!
The next couple of months should be more expensive, with Christmas on the horizon and a flight to pay for, but I've already passed my target, so anything else is a bonus.
Three quarters of the way through the year already!Save £12k in 2022 thread #7:

Reporting in for September with a huge £805.32, as my student loan installation came through, as well as full time earnings from August. Also put aside some cash for my car insurance in November.

A surprising result of £710 from me this month - apparently my new job pays differently to how I expected them to, but in a good way! I'm now back on track with full budgeting done for next month including medical-type bills, so if I didn't have those I'd be back to saving well over £1,000 per month which is where I want to be
In other news, rather unexpectedly, we're buying a house! Well, with my experience of trying and failing to purchase property I'm doing my best not to count it as a done deal as we're at such an early stage, so please keep your fingers crossed for us!
Only three months left of the year - where has it gone?!0 -
Hi guys,
£0 saved for September, this won't matter as I'll be receiving more money in October which will make up for September
