In financial news I forgot my lunch today so spent money. And took the girl to town yesterday to get shoes for her job and had a coffee and cake. But was nice to spend time with her.
Have spent nearly £300 on shoes in less than a month 😱 £150 on three lots of school shoes, three lots of trainers for pe, three lots of outside shoes and a pair of work shoes!!!! Damn kids and growing feet!
Budget is unbelievably tight right now. But in good news hubby has pre-ordered a ps5 today and has the full amount out aside as he has been sending me money every month to put in a ps5 category! He is very pleased with how this has worked.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉5 -
Yay to everything slowly starting to move properly with the house move! Boo to the cost of shoes
Regardless of budget being tight you are so in control of it all, i really dont know how you do it all

The girl overslept this morning, leading to an episode of weeping as she has blisters from her shoes, and then she rang in a pa if halfway to college as she forgot her mask. I was already up against it as the devil cat is in today to have his plums off, so hubby taking smallest to school. So she will have to buy a mask at college (they have to wear them when working in the dark room and in the corridors) so have bought a pack of disposable masks for her to put in all bags, and some more blister plasters. She is not in a good way atm tbh.
Full on day at work so best get back to itDebt free Feb 2021 🎉5 -
Friday did not get better, roadworks literally everywhere led to me being late to my last job, and then more temporary traffic lights on the way home meant I was never going to make the school run (all this was also hampered by having to pick devil cat up early after his op as he was stressed 🤦 he was fine, bloody cat 😂) luckily my sister text to say she had come home early and would pick my neice up, so I asked her to grab the smallest. But going to have to rethink timings a bit with all the extra roadworks.
I have also taken on a new private client. Every other week, but this will now mean I have no spare time in the week at all. But two of my regular clients through my boss are moving out of the area in the next few months so may not replace both of them right away. Am getting more worried about paye job, I am not sure there will be a job for me to go back too, especially if travel restrictions tighten up again. I just need it to carry on until we complete on the house. I know I can get more clients to fill the days, and I wouldn't be much worse off, just a shame because I have really enjoyed the paye job.
Anyway, off to get dressed, may go on a walk with the hubby, but we drank alcohol last night (a rare occurrence to drink in the house) and am feeling a little bit delicate this morning.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉5 -
And the girls Friday got better, she made a new friend which is something she really wanted from college, meeting new people and making new friends. Most of her friends she has known since she was 5 and tbh she has outgrown most of them. She came home in a much better mood than she left in.
She is still waiting on her first shift at work, apparently they are waiting on her uniform, but she has completed all the induction stuff and signed her contract so fingers crossed she can start in the next week or so.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉4 -

Sorry you couldn't have time off together. Ouch to the shoe bill but at least it's done now - and you got a lot of pairs for the money.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Monday was a flat out day and due to miscommunication between me and the boss I ended up being at a job for an hour too long. On the plus side the client was super happy with what I achieved in the time!
Yesterday morning was spent having the smallests ASD assessment. Then me, hubby and smallest went on a 6k walk. Was soooo hot! Hubby was less than impressed, apparently it was too far.
Email from solicitors last night, searches all back, still waiting on vendors to answer initial enquiries, so much for getting stuff back quickly. I answered our buyers enquiries within 6 hours! Anyway solicitors is back to being responsive, I will contact tomorrow to see if the searches threw anything extra up. Hoping the EA is chasing our buyer and vendor to see if there is anything else we can do.
I have started to try and declutter a bit, went through the boys books, have a huge load for charity, but they are only taking on certain days. Really don't want to move it all with us though. I am going to get some movers out next week for a quote I think.
And to top the day off, the girl has her first shift at work on sat at 8am, she will need to leave here at 7.30am she is not impressed 😂 And the boy is in the doghouse due to his attitude, and the fact that he told me to f off. No phone, no playstation, bed early. He is normally really good, but his attitude since going back to school has been shocking.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉4 -
