Yay to everything slowly starting to move properly with the house move! Boo to the cost of shoes
Regardless of budget being tight you are so in control of it all, i really dont know how you do it all :astonished:

  • And the girls Friday got better, she made a new friend which is something she really wanted from college, meeting new people and making new friends. Most of her friends she has known since she was 5 and tbh she has outgrown most of them. She came home in a much better mood than she left in.

She is still waiting on her first shift at work, apparently they are waiting on her uniform, but she has completed all the induction stuff and signed her contract so fingers crossed she can start in the next week or so.

Hope you enjoyed your work.  Just had my hounds down to the river.  Lovely aroma of wet dog but they're happy

Sorry you couldn't have time off together. Ouch to the shoe bill but at least it's done now - and you got a lot of pairs for the money.

  • Monday was a flat out day and due to miscommunication between me and the boss I ended up being at a job for an hour too long. On the plus side the client was super happy with what I achieved in the time!

Yesterday morning was spent having the smallests ASD assessment. Then me, hubby and smallest went on a 6k walk. Was soooo hot! Hubby was less than impressed, apparently it was too far.

Email from solicitors last night, searches all back, still waiting on vendors to answer initial enquiries, so much for getting stuff back quickly. I answered our buyers enquiries within 6 hours! Anyway solicitors is back to being responsive, I will contact tomorrow to see if the searches threw anything extra up. Hoping the EA is chasing our buyer and vendor to see if there is anything else we can do.

I have started to try and declutter a bit, went through the boys books, have a huge load for charity, but they are only taking on certain days. Really don't want to move it all with us though. I am going to get some movers out next week for a quote I think.

And to top the day off, the girl has her first shift at work on sat at 8am, she will need to leave here at 7.30am she is not impressed 😂 And the boy is in the doghouse due to his attitude, and the fact that he told me to f off. No phone, no playstation, bed early. He is normally really good, but his attitude since going back to school has been shocking.
