Today we dragged the three non school kids out. Drove a bit of a way to a country park. The kiosk was open doing coffee and ice creams, so I treated them to an ice cream each. Then we walked around the lakes. We walked for close to two hours 😱 smallest did well, but was flagging by the time end, especially as it was getting pretty hot. The next two days are going to be around 30, the wierd one will be unbearable, he does not cope with heat at all. I have a client tomorrow, and then two on Thursday and Friday. And obviously Thursday is kitten day!

So today is cat choosing day! The smallest is beside himself with excitement 😂 Although in typical Dal style we will be stuck in the car for an hour there and back on the hottest day of the year ☀️ (rather reminiscent of our holiday in Cornwall last year!)

I have two jobs today. After the school run I need to dash to my mum's as she has kindly made some masks for us, kitten breeder has requested we wear them and hubby will possibly need some if he ever gets back into the office (for the train journey).

Really not looking forward to the first job. Is always a hot house and soooo many stairs. Will be dripping when I finish.

  • The country park looked lush! I'm really wishing I was a car driver as I can't get out to do these nice trips. Good luck on cat picking day, my good friend has just got two white fluffy blue eyed cats. Really cute.

hey! well I'm off here for a week and look at everything you've been up to!
Excellent news on the loan, i'm very impressed
oo will be happy new kitten day soon then, that time will fly by. Country park looks so nice, I won't go to the one directly behind my house at the moment because I know it will be busy with people and i'd rather not have to try and avoid people when I want to be out enjoying, I manage to hold in sarky comments at stupid people in the shops not sure I can manage any more restraint though
