So spoke to the breeder today. I feel confident that they are a reputable one and am happy to go ahead and buy from them. We will be viewing the kittens in their back garden, socially distanced and with masks etc. They were happy for the kids to come so we will probably let them choose the two. The breeder said that all of the kittens get on well, so there were no specific pair that they would suggest. Two may possibly be already reserved before we get a chance to view (damn being back at work 😂).
The girl is soooo excited it's crazy. She is really starting to struggle with lockdown now.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉5 -

Today we dragged the three non school kids out. Drove a bit of a way to a country park. The kiosk was open doing coffee and ice creams, so I treated them to an ice cream each. Then we walked around the lakes. We walked for close to two hours 😱 smallest did well, but was flagging by the time end, especially as it was getting pretty hot. The next two days are going to be around 30, the wierd one will be unbearable, he does not cope with heat at all. I have a client tomorrow, and then two on Thursday and Friday. And obviously Thursday is kitten day!Debt free Feb 2021 🎉4

all the whining and moaning was worth it for views like this though.

So today is cat choosing day! The smallest is beside himself with excitement 😂 Although in typical Dal style we will be stuck in the car for an hour there and back on the hottest day of the year ☀️ (rather reminiscent of our holiday in Cornwall last year!)
I have two jobs today. After the school run I need to dash to my mum's as she has kindly made some masks for us, kitten breeder has requested we wear them and hubby will possibly need some if he ever gets back into the office (for the train journey).
Really not looking forward to the first job. Is always a hot house and soooo many stairs. Will be dripping when I finish.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉4 -
The country park looked lush! I'm really wishing I was a car driver as I can't get out to do these nice trips. Good luck on cat picking day, my good friend has just got two white fluffy blue eyed cats. Really cute.

Have fun picking the kittens. Hope you don’t get too hot whilst cleaning the first job.3

Kittens viewed and two picked. Three had already been reserved and three were a couple of weeks younger (there were two litters) and the kids wanted them sooner, so we had a choice of four. One girl, so we decided to go for two boys, one was really small and a bit delicate, the other two were big and stocky. So we went for those two. They have the same colourings so may be interesting trying to tell them apart 😂
Anyway deposit paid and will be ready for collection from the end of July. 😁Debt free Feb 2021 🎉5 -
hey! well I'm off here for a week and look at everything you've been up to!
Excellent news on the loan, i'm very impressed
oo will be happy new kitten day soon then, that time will fly by. Country park looks so nice, I won't go to the one directly behind my house at the moment because I know it will be busy with people and i'd rather not have to try and avoid people when I want to be out enjoying, I manage to hold in sarky comments at stupid people in the shops not sure I can manage any more restraint though
