It’s a juggling act for sure with money! I struggle with that sometimes, knowing what to prioritise first. I have a list of things in a wish list and I’m struggling to decide what to fund first. Although I did just buy myself a drill as I am thinking that will come in useful, but I also want an air fryer as my old chip fryer died. Is there anyway you can make some more money by selling something to get the £70 and then throw everything at funding the new doors.

I am thinking of putting some of the funds I have set aside for our Scotland trip to it. It may well be that we actually end up moving house before we get the chance to go.

So today I dragged the three kids not in school out on a walk. It wasn't far away, but we did drive and parked as it would have been too far for small legs. The smallest grumbled the whole way up this hill, and then stood still for a few minutes talking about the awesome view 😂 we walked to a church and I tasked the smallest to find the oldest and newest grave markers while I rested lol! He really liked looking at the newer grave markers (by newer,1900-1980's) and figuring out who was related to who. There was even an earl buried there. His obsession with family trees and ancestors is still going strong.

Nothing much else going on, I have one job tomorrow, three on Thursday (around a school meeting via technology I have never used before!) And working with the boss on Friday.

Glad all is going well. Thanks for sharing the picture - it is good to look at positive images at the moment. I had to drive to drop something off for a colleague today and it was lovely to see lots of tree-lined roads.

What a lovely view and a great idea to keep your smallest engaged by finding details on graves.

Good news on the work front as well.

Yes, we walked back along a bridleway and I did wonder if we would meet anyone!

I used to love charging up a hill at full pelt when I rode out as a teen, was always my favourite part of the ride. I did a beach ride a couple of years ago when I took the girl to Scotland. That was amazing. We saw eagles too on that ride.

Seeing eagles on a horse ride sounds like something from movie. Awesome in every way.
