Charging anywhere full pelt is always fun
managed to get to the forestry early last weekend, no one around so I opened the boy up and let him have a good blast, I think we both needed it!
love the sound of that ride, miss going to the beach with him, hopefully will get down there at some point this summer but its too far to travel at the moment.

Weigh in today, 2lbs lost. So 6.5 lbs in two weeks! I always do this though, lose half a stone then it all gets so much harder and I give up. Feeling pretty determined mind. Working less ours and being able to come home for my lunch is definitely helping. Really want to lose a lb this week to get that half a stone.
It's food shop today, doing my mums too. Will be taking the girl so she can do there's, then will take the smallest when I go and drop the shopping off as he has some more questions about his great great great grandparents 😂 may have to find the graveyard that is semi local to us that has a lot of my dad's ancestors in. The girl wants to meet her friend again when I take my mum's shopping over (she lives in the same village as my mum).
Hoping to be able to meet my sister again this week, but I know she is stupidly busy ATM. Will see her this afternoon at school pick up and see if we can arrange something.
The boy is back in school on Thursday as he is year 10. I think he is looking forward to it, although I am unsure if his close friends will be there. One of them is often out sick so not sure if there is an issue there or not. He will be back in every Thursday only after this week, so not like he is back full time or anything. No idea what will happen in September, but I am pretty resigned to not doing the course I had planned. If the smallest can't be accommodated full time I will have to scale back clients as well. I am taking on one new one (but it is an alternate with an existing client) but won't take on any more permanent ones until I know more.
Have a good week everyone!Debt free Feb 2021 🎉3 -
Went on a lovey walk yesterday, went to another village church graveyard to satisfy the smallest obsession 😂🤔 mil is posting a family tree and I have contacted one of my cousin's to see if I can locate the one my dad's, dad completed.
Back to work today, I got paid for the two jobs I did in may, so paid £50 off the loan, really want to get it below 5k by the end of June. I should have most of the money for the doors set aside by the weekend too.
Hoping to hear from the breeder about viewing the kittens next week. So a decision will have to be made soon about that!
Not a lot else going on though, feel a bit of the same old, same old again.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉4 -
Well done on the weight loss. Good that you have more regular income again. Life looks set to be challenging for some time. We have to find a way to look for the wins. My win this year has been using the garden more, sorting it out, doing a veg plot and using the garden furniture we bought last year more often.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Horse riding is indeed unfortunately both expensive and time consuming but if you can do it on the occasion its always worth it, is it worth looking if anyone needs someone to exercise theirs maybe once a week in your local area, I often see and hear of people around me that are looking for just a little bit of help, then you're not committed too much and don't have to pay
Excellent result on the weight, well done, will be here to cheer you past the half stone mark!
Hope you get to catch up with your sister again, graveyards are interesting places although slightly morbid and good luck making the decision on the kittens, I know if I saw them there would be no chance I wouldn't have them

So I have been doing some rejigging. Promising noises coming from my furloughed job, back with some cleaning clients (although not at full strength and can't really be until I know what the schools will do in September) and husbands big promotion have all made me feel a bit safer income wise. So I have emptied most of my savings (bar for the cats) and paid into the loan. New balance will be 2416 by the end of June, and as long as I qualify for the next se grant it will be gone by mid August!!! Then just the two 0% cc that hubby is chipping away at. Will need to redo the budget once the payrise kicks in and the tax credits disappear, but I just want the loan gone so I can concentrate on moving.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉5 -
Omg, kitten breeder has been in touch. Kittens have been registered, vaccinations this week, and as long as they are all ok we can choose them next weekend!!! Really hoping we can have two. Won't be ready to leave until last week in July (this breed takes longer to mature and needs to be with mum longer, 13wks is the minimum they should leave) stupidly excited! Annoyingly we can't go in the week due to work. Might see if Fri evening might work. It's about a 50min drive away, so not too bad. I doubt they want us to go as a family, but hubby definitely wants to he involved. May take him and the smallest........Debt free Feb 2021 🎉3
