Money is only that. Billionaires and millionaires can't buy their way out of C19. Enjoy your time at home.

So all clients now cancelled due to lock down. Went shopping on Wed, but will need to go again, hoping to get throigh the weekend, having a larger family is not great atm. Also may need to pick bits up for mum and dad at some point.

The boy is having an asthma flare up, not helped by the warmer weather and pollen. He is wheezy and bunged up, so definitely not virus related, but am concerned in case he needs steroids. He hasn't needed them for years so we don't have a rescue dose like we did when he was younger. It's just a niggle atm and will keep a close eye on him.

Been slowly deep cleaning my house. Both bathrooms have been done, will make a start on the bedrooms today. Also mowed the back lawn (really needed it!)

Home learning isn't going particularly well. But am not pushing it with the small two. They are safe and happy and that is all I can with for atm.

I think just safe and happy is what everyone wants at the moment.
Look at you being good and deep cleaning...….I probably should get round to that on the weekend :disappointed:
Hope the boy doesn't get any worse and that you have a nice weekend

Will you qualify for any help from the government in June?

Should do. I have two tax returns and will do this year's in April, so I can update the tax credits who are underpaying us atm due to estimated income from se being generous. After my accident, dropping clients and this I will probably earn around 2k less than I estimated.

If I am eligible (pretty certain I am, but this is hmrc so who knows 🤷‍♀️) I should get around £1800 in June. This would be a huge help, especially if my other job goes. Which is looking more and more likely. With more countries going into lock down, aviation is taking a battering, I don't think there will be a huge amount for me to do going forward, but will see what the next two days bring.

Aw that's not good that the second job may go but fingers crossed you can get the help from the government in terms of the sefl employed work.

£1800 in June is at least some help. It's hard isn't it - it feels like a wind that came out of nowhere. We all just want it to blow over and be gone but it's not happening yet.

So I may be furloughed from my other job. I am definitely working on Monday as the other bookkeeper is off on holiday, but I think the company is keen to furlough all non essential staff and run with just two of them for the next two months. Then there will either be a job or not. Would be great if I still get paid, if not, well I will just have to cleaning more hours like before. Still hoping to get to college in September too.

Teens are getting fractious, the boy is basically doing as little school work as possible, he really isn't academic at all. The wierd one did lots of maths yesterday, made him watch YouTube videos on long multiplication as he just couldn't get it with just me explaining it. Did well after that.

The smallest is basically doing, nothing. But he is 7, has huge aversion to school anyway, so sod it. He is academically very bright so not worrying at all.

Starting to get a little stir crazy. Wish we had managed to move house last year, this one is too small for six of us in it full time!

If you are furloughed will you be able to get the 80% wages for that job as well as your self employed work?
I bet it's hard with all 6 of you there all the time, I think its hard being just me for majority of my time (apart from seeing people up the yard) but I guess it is easier than having everyone under your feet all feeling bored, the worst I get is my oldest moggy yelling at me and then deciding she really wants to sit on me while I'm trying to work

I think I should be able to. If not I won't get the se grant, but either way I will be OK.

Went and did a huge shop this morning, got easter eggs so they are bought now.

Going to be a quiet afternoon though. Been listening in on hubby's work meeting, omg it's boring 😂
