It's a good time to help others out with paid work - that can be done in a socially distanced way. Win win on getting house and garden sorted. I a really tempted to get someone in to cut back our trees but probably can't yet if in bird nesting season anyway.

That's what I am thinking. He's a good bloke, and the outside of the conservatory looks shocking! Will see what I get paid on the 20th and how the whole situation is looking around then.

Spoke to my sister and she mentioned that there is lots of work lined up for their business once border controls are relaxed and people can start moving a little more freely, so hopefully Tey can ride it out and I will still have a job.

Going to be non scheduled days over the easter break. Planning on getting dressed and sorting our bedroom, looking to start painting it.

Decorating sounds positive. I asked DH to look for fence paint - he unearthed at least 10 house paints ready to use.... runs off blushing....

    Lol!

I painted the walls in our room, still need to do the ceiling. It was shockingly dusty, no wonder my sinues have been awful (I am allergic to dust), moved all the furniture and cleaned behind the bed. Changed the bedding and it all looks good. The slour isn't as dark as I would have liked, but if we lan on selling a lighter colour would probably be best.

Glad it worked out well. I am thinking of using a rake under our bed. It could definitely do with a pipe stretched hoover under there...

I do love my Henry, he gets into all the odd places! 😂

Just done the ceiling. Am shattered, and stupidly hot. And only taken 5yrs! Going to do a bit of the bathroom ceiling too, have cleaned off all the mould and needs touching up now.

Congrats on getting it done. I asked DS to take the masking tape off the bathroom ceiling today from when I painted months ago (like Christmas or before)!

Lol, that's a bit like me. I was on a roll this weekend though and did two walls in the boys room. Hve blagged some sandpaper from my dad (he will leave it in their porch for me to collect) so will have no excuse not to do the gloss. As long as the gloss painti have is OK.

Glad you have someone who can drop some off for you. We would have to rely on friends and neighbours as family all live too far away
