I almost finishethe boys room, I moved the wardrobe and bookcase and unit, but no way I can move the bunk beds. But they won't be moving with us if we do move, so am going to paint the wall in between the top and bottom bunks and then leave is. You can't tell they are painted around and if we sell I will take them down the week before we move and fill in the bits that are missed.

The girls room is still half done, I imagine I will end up finishing it before we put the house on the market rather than her completing it.

I got paid today, so it looks like the furlough will work, I finished working for them last week. So lots of time on my hands now! I emailed the handyman about cleaning the fascias, gutters and conservatory, he got back to me asking for pictures so will see what he says, but I have set some money aside for it.

I completed my tax return and updated tax credits for the coming year, which has prompted an extra payment and an increase (as my se will reduce) in normal payments. But hubby has an interview for a possible promotion tomorrow which would be an 8k payrise so if that happens I imagine all credits would stop..... We will see and I will update promptly to make sure we are not overpaid. Have calculated what he would get using an online tax calculator and putting him paying 8% into his pension (the maximum he can) and we will be doing well as long as I keep both my jobs.

Hope things work out positively for you both. It will be good for you to get jobs ticked off the list. It helps make it feel like progress is being made despite everything we can't control.

He didn't get the job. Annoying, but at least we know. And we are OK. He had positive feedback and knows he would be a serious contender for any future promotions. It just came a bit too soon, another year in his current role would have helped so much more. And he was beginning to have a wobble about the extra hours he would need to put in.

I have done barely anything this week. So this weekend will be about cleaning, finishing up the painting in the boys room, changing beds, and cutting grass. Also need to chase the handyman about the gutters. Our washing line pole is bending and looks like it is coming out if the ground so may get him to dig it out and put in a rotary one for us while he is here.

Sorry he didn't get the job. Good that he got positive feedback though. Sounds like you've given yourself a long list there. Be kind to yourself too!
