Spendy, muchly today. Wrapping paper, cards, and four pressies for DD1 friends' Birthdays in the sales. Dad's as well. Again, money set aside for this, it was planned. Few more YS veggies too.
The rest of the month should be spend free according to my book :D I certainly don't want to go out in the weather they claim to be heading our way. Want to plan out things for next month tomorrow. Maybe isolate a few aims for the year ahead too.
Exercise: I made it to the gym, and took the kids swimming again.
Remember: bought sanitary towels for the food bank.
Gratitudes: Board games with the family, so many laughs.
Getting some time to myself to sort things.

Today I am grateful for warm clothes, for getting out for an icy walk across the 'moors', for finding bacon for dd in the little shop, for the satisfaction of sorting lego cards, for good food, for time with my niece, for dd making dolly peg dolls, for the smell of the wood fire.

    Hello.
It's been a long time since I checked in.
Haven't been spending much. Had a big shop from Tesc@ on the Thursday before Chrismas and went out yesterday for bread and bananas. Managed 21 NSD this month and spends are well within budget.
Got rid of lots of bits to either the charity shop or recycling bin.
Gave my self a good talking to. Need to loose weight badly.Thyroid is bordering on under active, and I've been eating a lot of junk.
Got rid of all the leftovers now so ready for a fresh start.
Going to put the boxes of chocs into the food bank collection box.
Hope they don't mind that sort of stuff.

    ilovetea xx

They love it - the ability to be able to put a treat item in a food parcel is great - everyone deserves a treat now and then :)

Final call for anyone wishing to run Jan.

Otherwise, it'll go live on sat/sun.

Tonis friend I have done our goals for 2018 today & been a bit ambitious too. Must be the day for it!
  • I can't wait to get back on board for January. December has been spendy as expected. I'm trying to sort my budget n any bugs spends now so that I can b uber frugal. Going to check out the frugal woods again. I need to get back to the small things.

Spendy day today as I did the big shop for the month. Went to Asder and they were reducing tonnes of meat to less than half price, I bought all the meat I need for January and probably February too for £11 :) Did a batch cook of 13 portions of bolognese. Lots of dog walking followed by lots of TV. Toni’s friend , I am the same and should really be doing stuff around the house, I keep telling myself I must ‘need’ the rest.

Another item sold on eBay today and one was posted too :)

Finally back to post an update.
Have made it to my target of 15 NSDs with a slim chance of another at the weekend. Tomorrow likely to be a spend day as DC need new school shoes.
Have plenty of treat food in for the weekend, biscuits and chocolates received as gifts, but running low on basics like bread, onions & eggs. Will try and combine purchases so just one visit into town.

Been working on household budget figures for next year.
Likely to have two DC at Uni so costs involved there as well as some much needed house maintenance required - small tasks that will be best dealt with proactively rather than leaving them and then having to react with possible additional costs.

Look forward to continuing into 2018...

We have snow this morning so I'm not sure what our plans will be today. I really need to leave the house, the last time I went further than a dog walk around the block was last Friday.
